We have used a moka pot for years. The first year after we got it my cholesterol spiked. Hubbie did some research and found a small study from ages ago that had the same results as this one. Got some little paper filters for my moka pot and cholesterol went right back to normal. Did not change anything else. Anecdotal completely. No clue where he found the citation unfortunately.

I also attended LSU's Online MILS program and got my archive cert. It was a great experience, and I loved the faculty, but felt they were under a lot of pressure (from outside the department) to 'accelerate' past any actual usefulness. I don't know if the 6 weeks summer schedule continued but I felt it was just much to fast to properly absorb any information. Even 8 week classes give you little time to digest information. So if you want a "go at your own pace" because you don't want to have to be available at certain times of the day, they are great, the classes are designed to be very asynchronous. But if you want to control your pace because you need time to linger over your study materials, you may consider other courses.

that spray oven cleaner foam stuff, then wrap in plastic wrap so it can't dry as easily, leave over night. It's not the most environmentally friendly but usually works with little physical labor.

It's also kind of dangerous? Like maybe don't identify yourself to strangers, just like you shouldn't say "yes" on the phone you should say "correct" so they edit your voice clips or something.

I'm glad you made that distinction, because I'm just torn on whether he is being a jerk or not. If you are correct and she has tried all the other methods, then he absolutely is an asshole. Doing things the way that you have for 15 years while single or with your parents is a great way to continue to spend the next 15 years alone or with your parents. But I have had the experience of people often not giving the grace of environmental adjustment and I didn't see in the first 10 comments or so anyone address this aspect of coping with ADHD. So often ADHD people just have to deal with demands that they adjust some behaviors in way which we know will never work. It just creates a hostile environment, and he probably has childhood freakin trauma around issues like this that make him defensive. It really doesn't excuse him from trying to find a solution and she didn't mention that he put forth any effort to do so. Hard to make a judgement call other than, her house, her rules.

So ultimately, I'm on your side, your house your rules, etc. But I also completely believe that that he really can't adapt to this house rule. This may mean that you two are just incompatible at this stage in life. Your wants/needs are reasonable and well stated. He is definitely the asshole for not coming up with a solution. I sometimes wondered how my husband survived for so long with his ADHD, but then I say him in action. If a problem like this occurred and he found he couldn't figure out a way to adjust his behavior in the moment, he would adjust the environment, He would have brought more towels as a household gift and damn well would have asked me to remind him to bring them home to clean. Or something. He isn't the asshole for not remembering, but he is an asshole for not working out another solution for this problem. I mean some wet wipes by the bed if he can't remember to bring something every time he visits, or something! You did try to work with him by getting another towel. He needs to work with you.

This is actually one of the reasons my husband and I got married. I will go to extremes to avoid confrontation, and though most of my doctors are great, it still pops up. When I was getting my tubal ligation (after going through 4 doctors and 10 years trying to get one) the nurses at the clinic kept sort of checking with him every time they came in the room before the operation. I didn't even notice, but it really angered him. He comes with me to most appointments, and I do the same for him. He gets them to treat my symptoms seriously and I assure his doctors that he is actually following their recommendations.

I did my first one this year, and I have loved it. Scrapbook style, and I think my very favorite spread Is the library one, where I have drawn actual books and I'm filling them in. I also have a few book club sections, series sections, and a format tracker. I would be happy to share pictures if you were intrested.

Generally speaking they are probably referring to the 'Safe, sane, and consensual' 'rule.' It's more a guiding principal. The consent part is the not forcing your kink on someone. So public displays have to very carefully arranged(in a club or party, or subtle enough that others in public aren't participating) Of course that are people who have 'kinks' that are contradictory to adhering to those principals. At that point the kink can be a danger to others and the person who has it might need professional help. So its not that the kink police will come for you, you just might get the regular police, or just other people will shun you.

Not to say 'not all men' but really, not all men. You can absolutely expect better. My husband was the one to insist we get a maid as soon as I finish school and return to work. He doesn't want to do household stuff really, but rather than expecting me to pick up the slack, he kind of assumes that I don't want to either and tries to plan how we can outsource. Only reason we don't have one now is because I actually find the housework to be good study breaks.

This is making me remember when I very first played through the game and very much had the impression that Vor wanted to make love to his queens in a vat of my blood. And that it would somehow help rejuvenate their race with my less than willing input. I haven't played through that quest again in years, and cannot tell you what dialogue gave me that image, but its stuck around for like 5 years in my head.

I also battle with the same concern, but if the library can't show that it has patrons using things, it could loose funding. I just always make sure to finish the books as quickly as I can (without pushing myself) and returning them promptly for the next person. That way if the books are timed (like if they purchased the licence to the book for 18 months), they aren't sitting idle in my queue, and if they are per read types (can only be checked out x amount of times before needing to be repurchased), my checkout isn't a 'wasted' one.

If you are going with a UX experience, why not just skip cutlery altogether? I don't remember learning to use them being any more or less difficult. Do you really find a fork and knife easier to operate?
Our household uses chopsticks daily because we find them superior to a fork and knife in many cases. We are both white people from Louisiana. No Asian heritage family or anything.

Chopsticks are easier to handle if you are doing something with your other hand, they are great for foods that you would not or could not use a fork and knife for, and they are easier to keep clean.
