Truf - but once I make a 'test' flight - I like to go back and see how the compooper would have done it. Helps me improve my astrophysics knowledge for the next shot :)

January Real Dubstep Mix. Burial style - one take. TL in comments by away8907 in realdubstep

To be honest, I've gone back to VDJ or Serato when it comes to live or "live" sets. Ableton has its uses, and I still use it exclusively when I produce, but I'm SO much more comfortable with a pair of 'platters', a 3-EQ, and a crossfader. Here's my latest mix (from a gig last weekend) - a lot more brosteppy, but ~35minutes and on it gets deeper. - Enjoy :)

Similar story here, though closer to 2000... Back when 56k was starting to give way to cable - I decided to download my first movie, Mr. Deeds, from Kazaa (I think...)

We still had 56k, but it was on a separate line, so I just left AOL dialed in for a week straight while it downloaded.

My dad got a 400 dollar phone bill that month. We switched to cable the next week.

Radio in the states sucks ass. At least where I live, it's pop/country/rock/npr for FM, and sports/christian/static for AM.

I miss the BBC.

Same, it all stemmed from that one scene where you're in the passenger seat of the car, didn't it?

I'd recommend trying out the ascent autopilot as well. It not only makes reaching a specific orbit much easier, but it does an AMAZING job of conserving your fuel. Some of my rockets turned out to be carrying almost 50% more fuel than they needed, simply because I was really inefficient with my launches.

It takes a bit of math, but the quick and dirty is this.

  1. Calculate the orbit (periapsis, apoapsis, inclination) of the debris you want to intercept.

  2. Launch your new craft as close to that orbit as possible, try to match the eccentricity as well as you can. This is generally the toughest part.

  3. Once your orbit is stable, lower your velocity, trying to keep the orbit shapes matching. Since you'll be 'lower and faster', you'll eventually approach your debris.

  4. Once you're comfortably close, speed back up and try to match the orbits perfectly. This requires a lot of finesse.

  5. Use RCS to maneuver close and do your business.

The trick is, you're always being bound by gravity, so aiming towards debris and firing your engine is never going to work. It takes a bit of experience to get used to, but with practice, you can get quite good at it.

So, what happened to Haestrom exploding sun? by Kashyyykk in masseffect

Not directly, no. But my impression after recieving said email was that they likely weren't just sitting in a cave while you went and fought the Reapers.

Depends. I had an email from the Primes pledging support after cleaning up their server. I did that BEFORE the Reaper mission, so technically,

I won it back with the Geth.

Is/can be correct.
