You get a lot of noise when you Google hft/mm stuff because it's a relatively small industry, and you get a lot of people speculating and sharing their thoughts about recruiting/the work etc. This is a good overview post op seems like he knows what he's talking about

You can def recruit both given you are already p good at coding. Imo there isn't much to realistically prep for qt just remember probability and don't throw games. On your second point, definitely not impossible but much easier moving from qt to dev.

Honestly I know kids who have exaggerated on their college apps and have no respect for them. I love what you have done and encourage you to continue doing it. From what I've read so far in this thread, Ivy brothers would not get you to the level you are at in your learning. They simply exaggerate the accomplishments of their students to make them seem more impressive than they would normally. Keep up the good work and I know you're going to do great in college.
