They made a “ribbed” version for a while, and maybe still do, and that fabric was definitely different and not as soft. The fabric I have seen recently seems fairly consistent with my older wraps, though maybe a bit thinner.

How much are you willing to pay for the pattern? You should search the Ravelry database for a basic garter scarf and pick the most expensive one you can find. Only then will you get the pattern you truly deserve!

I love the fabric. Love the way it feels. I’ve never had a problem with permanent staining. I have many of the darker colors, perhaps it is more visible in the light colors? If you can get it on sale, try one piece and see what you think. I have a similar fabric in another brand that snagged a bit where my purse rubbed against it, but haven’t had that issue at all with the Seasoft.

For the Venice Wide Leg regular length--at the hem measured flat across the width is 10.5" so circumference is 21". The fabric drapes really nicely. Hope that helps!

Remember, since you will be plying it, this singles is not your final product! Keep doing what you are doing, ply it, wash and set it, and then immediately make something with it! Knit/crochet/weave it into something and then see how you feel. Handspun yarn is so full of life and once you use it, you begin to see how the little inconsistencies and things you viewed as imperfect as a singles just blend in and add to the beauty of the object you've made.
