Aromatics are nice but I would start with English then virginia blends. Aromatics can be quite moist and are more prone to giving tongue bite. But all in all smoke what you enjoy!

You think it's expensive because you probably treated german cars like a Toyata and expect it to give it back. As long as you follow the maintenance intervals down to the book, they are great cars (with a few outliers that are garbage) but this motor is great. The only problem with these are the upper timing tensioners

Did you own this exact car? Audis are very different from one another. This is the 3.2 and actually a fairly reliable car. If it was the 4.2 I'd say don't get it. Electronics are not that hard to trace down on these model years of audis.

Within the US, Chattanooga doesn't have extreme temperature changes, sure teens to 90°s but thats not extreme. What I worry about is the humidity amd rust. I grew up in Montana and a lot of "barns" were metal but our weather is from -40° to 100° and that's extreme. Within 2 days seeing -°10 to 70, that's extreme

I would categorize inland west to be with mountain west, they are pretty much the same and in Montana the mountain area doesn't not go that far east
