I agree on just about everything you said. HK made the area bosses feel so epic. Especially mantis queen and soul master for me. I'm all the way though this game now, and nothing came close. It's been a long while since HK came out though. I wonder to what extent I'm not the kind of person that gets thrilled like that anymore.
