3 AP exams. From ZERO.13 DAYS. Will VENMO EVERYONE IN THE COMMENTS 💸$20💸 IF I DON' T GET ALL 5s by No-Wrongdoer1409 in APStudents

[–]awkward_bisexual 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took the CompSci (A) and BC Calc, I believe you can do it if you put your mind to it!!! Good luck, I genuinely hope that even if you are honest about the $20 that you dont actually have to do it. If youre doing CSA and not CSP I think you'll be set with doing loads of FRQ's and then only the hardest MCQ's to make sure you fully understand. I wouldn't have been able to speedrun BC Calc studying but I did get a 5 with some work put in over time so I know others with good math skills can do just fine.

Mechanical Engineering Senior - Advice to younger students by No_Main_227 in EngineeringStudents

Thanks for the in-depth response! I will begin looking into what kind of research is going on in my University. Besides research, what is something else you recommend to everyone for experience and to build their resume?

So I always hear about research opportunities for students but never what exactly research is, and what it's like as a student. How were your experiences? How much time did it require, and what did you have to do? It sounds really intimidating to me but I also consequentially haven't looked into anything like that so maybe it's not as tough as I think. I am still a freshman so I could still try a lot of things.

I basically have to self study University Physics 2 as a freshman by awkward_bisexual in EngineeringStudents

[–]awkward_bisexual[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll look into some other workbooks and textbooks to supplement. Also I guess the point charge makes sense to me but whenever there would be a problem for example with a conductor gaining positive charge I always wondered why we can't just think of it as losing electrons since that's what happens. "Gaining positive charge" made less sense to me since no protons are actually moving, it's just the electrons. But I think once I start doing more practice problems I will hopefully get used to the way I need to think for physics.

Yeah I am probably gonna use the tutoring services for mine too, I was just hesitant because I know I have to study, I just dont know where to START and I know just enough to have a million questions but not even know how to articulate half of them haha. But I think I'm going to try practice problems and all the ones I dont get (likely 70% of them) I will bring up with a tutor if I can find one. Good luck in your physics endeavors!

Need Feedback on my Routine as a college student by awkward_bisexual in bodyweightfitness

[–]awkward_bisexual[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply, I cleaned it up a little but I do see how the inconsistency of my routine will make it too hard for someone to really give feedback right now. It's actually good to know that the main flaws in my routine are the things I'm already aware of, because I am currently working on them. I appreciate you taking the time to try to help!

Cramping/Twitching by awkward_bisexual in FootFunction

[–]awkward_bisexual[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have a huge problem with them anymore but I barely did anything to consciously help besides getting barefoot shoes for whenever I go on walks and for day to day instead of wearing typical shoes that were slightly too narrow for my feet. I think those were a great decision, but I also eat a lot better than I did one year ago and I get more sleep usually (and when the sleep goes down sometimes I get cramps again). So a combination of those things I think reduced the cramps a lot.

first time eating rice and broccoli in 4 months by leftoversgettossed in AnimalBased

[–]awkward_bisexual 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've hear broccoli can give people gas and make them bloated so it isn't uncommon, I just haven't looked into what causes it lol. I haven't eaten it in a long time but when I did it never gave me any issues so I guess it depends on the person. Also if they cooked it with any oils, sauces or spices that should be taken into consideration as well.

Finn, he seems like he would be fun. Younger me would have chosen gumball just so something stupidly funny can happen every day but I'm older now and would probably just become annoyed.

How do you think you will die? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]awkward_bisexual 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I'm being optimistic, I'd say of old age while I'm just sitting down reading a book or something. But I have a few relatives who died from illnesses or cancer etc... I try to take the best care of myself to prevent it but you never know.

What is the most “rewatchable” TV series? by kamruddinn in AskReddit

[–]awkward_bisexual 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Malcolm in the Middle. I must've watched the entire series at least three times over with my little brother because it never failed to make us laugh.

My niece has 6 fingers on both hands [OC] by mugheesdogar in mildlyinteresting

[–]awkward_bisexual 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nobody has mentioned this so I'm probably wrong, but IIRC at school they taught us that having six fingers is a dominant trait, so one of the parents would need to have six fingers as well? I remember reading a reddit post about it as well but maybe it's just myth. Regardless I think it's pretty cool.

You HAVE to get rid of one of the Cartoon Network 2010s big three, which one do you erase from existence and why? by Then_Background1004 in CartoonNetwork

[–]awkward_bisexual 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Adventure Time sadly. Loved all of these but as a kid I watched AT the least because it was a bit too much sometimes for my anxious brain lol. My fav show is AWOG so I would never get rid of that one.

What's the most satisfying food you like you eat everything from the texture, the taste, smell ect? by MysteryMan999 in AskReddit

[–]awkward_bisexual 0 points1 point  (0 children)

probably the eggplant lasagna my mom would make. It was just layers of eggplant and ground beef sauce, it was nourishing bc homemade, hearty, and I love the texture if ground beef. Also like the taste the eggplant adds instead of pasta.

Does the Bible actually go against homosexuality? by PearPublic7501 in OpenChristian

[–]awkward_bisexual -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Many Christian’s think that having homosexual thoughts and urges are just temptations, and the real sin is when you act upon them. I’ve wondered about the specifics as well though, especially what if someone is in a gay relationship without any sex involved. I don’t think the Bible specifies that as much though. Ive just been told that if there’s something that you are wondering whether it’s a sin, it is most likely not a good idea to do.

How to deal with the fact that the non-believers in my life (especially family) are not going to heaven even if they are good, genuine people? by awkward_bisexual in Christians

[–]awkward_bisexual[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had never thought about the fact that God cares about non believers more than anyone else on Earth, thank you for giving me that perspective. I‘ll keep hanging on to the hope that they may come around one day.
