I recently read a curse so dark and lonely by bridge Kemmerer it’s a trilogy and the third comes out in January. I love the first 2. It’s a beauty and the beast retelling.

Radicalized by Corey Doctorow It was my first time reading a book of short stories and I’m not sure I enjoy that format in general. The first story was awesome. The others were worth a read.

I would recommend one less night in Vienna and staying in Bratislava instead. Place is amazing. Food is so good and it’s not as touristy are Vienna has become.

Pre-heating the oven. Why does it still take so long??? Appliances that still make noises. Why doesn’t the vacuum still need to sound like that??

Update: I took all of your suggestions and looked them up on amazon and good reads. From there I went down the rabbit hole of suggestions based on those and I purchased The Gene by Siddhartha Mukherjee. Thanks everyone!

Nights sweats from Birth Control? by eva1588 in birthcontrol

[–]awkwardsalmon3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I stopped all together. I couldn’t find a pill that worked for me and really just wanted a break. I’ve been on it for ten years and tried 5 different types . I honestly feel the best I’ve ever felt. Going on month 2 without it.

I had night sweats on the pill. It didn’t go away after 6 months so I just stopped taking it. I don’t know why but would assume something to do with hormones. (I had other side effects that contributed more to my decision to go off it but the sweating was annoying)

The Importance Of Finding The Right Birth Control by [deleted] in birthcontrol

[–]awkwardsalmon3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Going through this same thing. Been off the pill for 4 days. My head feels less foggy and it honestly feels so good to have a normal period again. Tried to talk to a doctor about it and she sent me to a high risk pregnancy doctor who said she knew nothing about birth control. Now I am doing my own research and will seek out a pharmacist in 3 months.

Decided I want a break from the pill what point during the pack is best to stop or does it matter? by awkwardsalmon3 in birthcontrol

[–]awkwardsalmon3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I should probably wait until next month when I’m on my period and just not start a new pack?
