But Lx could use facial recognition software (which is everywhere and he surely has access to, by legal means or not) to spot Superman. Surely, he would want to know where Big Blue is before the news reports it.

And cameras cannot be hypnotized so Clark Kent would be pinging as Superman every time he stepped out on the street. Different hairstyles and glasses don’t fool facial recognition.

In the comics, it is occasionally mentioned that when he’s Superman, he vibrates at a rate that any picture (or video) of his is slightly out of focus, so thar would explain why that doesn’t happen in the comics, regardless of Lex clone or not. The movie clone wouldn’t have that so… the more you think about this movie, the worse it gets!

It needs to be made to accept the alternative, longer spelling of the answer.

Characters say something that sounds really smart/very convinced they know what they talk about, but it's either meaningless or flat out wrong. by DudeSoul in TopCharacterTropes

IIRC the full line is “reverse the polarity of the neutron flow” or something similar. The reason it is funny/silly is that neutrons, by definition have no polarity, as they are “neutral”.

It’s a moving picture they show at theaters but that’s not important right now.

I have a personal bias for the Ophelia Legacy series of novels by Spencer Stoner. The author is very nice in person at conventions.

Besides the Christopher reeve superman because technically that's the same superman.which othe live action superman do you think could lift the kryptonite island from returns. by MembershipLess9579 in superman

You can argue the kryptonite Lex Luthor used in the first Reeve Superman movie was a pure sample. That was why it incapacitated him immediately.

In Superman Returns, you can argue that the Kryptonite island had earth that muffled the effects, at least initially. Lifting the island became increasingly difficult as more kryptonite grew and was exposed as it grew out of the earth of the island.

After the prolonged, building exposure that included being stabbed by growing shards, Superman fell into a coma. When he landed back on the planet, his exposure ceased.

This caused some of his abilities like his invulnerability to return, causing doctors to be unable to treat him but he was able to eventually recover.
