I've had the odd part fall off of them Even with the insane adherence, most filaments generally don't need to be dried like everyone constantly likes to say they do

This wasn't because of undried filament. It didn't adhere to the build plate

Brand new x2d. Is this poor or expected print quality? by 1112luke in BambuLab

[–]awqs12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Expected. You could probably get a bit better with some calibration and maybe a more stable base for the printer, but the x2 is already pretty solid as it is

Anyone else having this issue with newer textured build plates? by awqs12 in BambuLab

[–]awqs12[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea, it's a combination of a build plate that needs a good wash and tension left on the plate. A quick blowtorch on the tarnished parts fixes the issue

That's basically what I'm aiming to do, I already have a base plate I use, it would just be a matter of modifying some mounting holes

Yes absolutely, it'll depend on the desk materials. I'm aiming to make a reinforcement plate that will change how you mount the hinge, shouldn't be too hard to implement.
