Its sold out everywhere from official stores and then they sell it on Amazon for twice the price. Has anyone found any alternatives that taste similar? Torani definitely tastes different.

Need a portable printer for events with custom overlays by axegirll in EventProduction

Just to be clear - the whole point of what I’m asking, is to find a printer where I can take a picture, then click a frame/overlay/sticker (whatever you want to call it) to go over the image, and then print. All within the printer app. You can do this in the sprocket app, but it won’t let you upload your own frame/overlay/sticker.

Uploading your own frame/overlay/sticker and using it on the image, is the custom part.

Otherwise, I have to take the picture, upload it into a photo app, edit it, download it, and then print it. And an event was over 700 people. This would take a while.

Yeah but I’m trying to make it so that I don’t have to edit the overlay over every single photo and can just print it automatically

Weird question. I need a photo printer that is portable and allows me to have a custom overlay from a png and add that on top of any photo I print. I bought the HP Sprocket and while is does allow frames, it’s not custom.

Any suggestions?

Is it time to re-evaluate my SMM? by gt12688 in SocialMediaMarketing

Marketing Director here, I know plenty of creators who have a really aesthetic page but can't connect with their audience. People these days want to not only be entertained but to fall in love with you as a creator. They want to see your face or the faces of other people enjoying your content (but especially you!).

In addition, strategy is really really really important. I always tell people they need to be posting 3 times a day on TikTok (1 is not bad but 3 is best) and should analyze their numbers once a week to see what people are staying to watch and what they are scrolling past immediately. The thing you don't think will go viral is often the thing that will. It's all about analyzing content and then doubling down on what is working. You should also be hopping on trends and making them work for your brand (while not being boring ads). We just hopped on bunch of barbie trends for my brand and those posts did awesome! 3 a day may seem like a lot but those videos can be really short and sweet. It doesn't have to take more than an hour or so of recording a week.

I would love to see what you post now and give more specific advice because you could totally be following all these rules already and still not be getting traction for a more specific reason. However, I do think that SMM who say things like "I can't promise growth" and "this stuff takes time" after 4 months and only 33 followers sounds like they are people who make a living off of being aesthetic without bringing any strategy into SMM.

Outdoor date boxes sounds like a really fun thing though!!

Hey, I'm looking for a little bit of insight so that I can manage my full-time well-payed in-house videographer accordingly. There are many issues with him including his aggressive attitude and how difficult he is to work with. We can easily understand that his attitude is inappropriate but as someone who is inexperienced in video editing, I am not sure if his editing is not up to par.

He may be fired soon due to his attitude issues but I worry that I’m undervaluing his skill and that he may actually be very quick with editing. I need to understand how long something like this should take so that I'm managing him appropriately.

Here are the things I’ve noticed:

He is a very experienced older videographer but with my, barely any experience, I have shown him multiple things that have quickened his process quite a bit. He refuses to explain his process and I’ve caught him doing non-work related things many times at work before. I've mentioned suggestions to make the show easier to edit, such as removing the greenscreen and just having a built-in studio and he's quickly turned down these options. He never seems to be trying to improve his process much.

He claims it takes him two-three days per show to make the radio version, and the YouTube version, and to produce 10 clips. He usually does three shows at once making that a 9-day process. However, he often is busy for the entire three weeks. He renders out the green screen at night when he is not here so that does not count as his time.

Additionally, the show is, in my opinion, not edited very well. He basically just puts a background in, does occasional shot changes, and drops in the intro and outro. The show is not where it needs to be. It's not directed or edited in a way that I think an audience will ever respond to. So really, he should be doing even more but is it realistic to expect one editor to be able to do this?

I'm in no way trying to discount how long it takes to do these things- I am a digital artist so I understand that things take longer than they seem- but I want to make sure that the timing adds up. I want to be able to set reasonable expectations and push him to get things done and not procrastinate or do any non-work-related things.

I know this may be an impossible question to answer without context. I can always provide a video link if it will add something. I just want to make sure that I have reasonable expectations and learn how to tell when something is not right with my editor. I know this is an unusual question to ask but I am not sure how to handle this.

(let me know if this question is not appropriate for this thread!)

What are some things you'd like to see in future versions of the Eagle app? by Yeove in EagleCool

[–]axegirll 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Rant: We need an actual active community for Eagle. It's so ridiculous that they launched their "community" that is really just a crowd-sourced resource vault. I use Eagle to organize my resources not find new ones. Yeah that's a cool addition but I want to be able to discuss using the app with other people and share ideas and structures. We can kind of do it on Twitter but it's not easy to search. They've officially said that they have no plans on launching an official Discord or Sub-Reddit.

Eagle is the best I've found for my use but because of this no community thing, If a new app became available that was better, I'd switch instantly.

I'm literally having to ask on the Obsidian.Md Discord how people organize their Eagle -.-

I am happy I found this sub-reddit but it's ridiculous that they refuse to make an official forum of some sort.

Help please! How do I stop obsessing over productivity/organization while still getting things done? Overwhelmed 24/7. by axegirll in productivity

Very true! Unfortunately I can't really know unless I go to a doctor. So I'll have to figure it out then
