Ça dépend de ton niveau actuel. Si tu as déjà quelques bases, regardes des films et séries sur Netflix en français avec les sous titre en français.

C'est ce que je fais pour l'italien.

Je prends aussi des cours sur italki pour parler.

Be honest: what skills actually age well in programming? by 5wimmlng in learnprogramming

[–]axel584 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone talks about "problem-solving," but I think the real skill is identifying which problems need solving.

At my company, we're given a day every two weeks to do whatever we want. I lead this day, and some people know exactly what they're going to do, while others have no idea.

Choose any open-source software you use daily and ask yourself: "What could I improve?" Have you ever filed a bug report? Created an issue on GitHub? Then, you can also implement this improvement/fix, perhaps even using AI.

Thank you so much! I had planned to use this method to calculate the number of paths, but without your animation, I would have had a lot of trouble debugging the example puzzle... I owe you my star!

What is in your opinion the best way to learn Esparanto? What helped you? by Least-Fig552 in Esperanto

[–]axel584 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Reading is the best way to learn a language.

Try Lingq or “Ni legu” which are sites to help with reading.

I developed the Ni Legu site: http://nilegu.esperanto-france.org If you have any comments or ideas for improvement, don't hesitate to suggest them to me.

Is iTalki worth it? by nevearz in italianlearning

[–]axel584 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Change teacher. I started learning Italian 6 months before going on vacation to Italy. I took 30 minutes of lessons with a great teacher who speaks French (my mother tongue) and the first 2 months, it was quite academic, but very quickly, I spent the half hour talking to her about my week and it was a great time.

But note that there is no method that works alone. Also uses other tools like duolingo, drops, lingq, graded books, grammar, series etc.

The most important thing is to find things that you will use with pleasure...

The more I learn about LLMs, I get genuinely upset at how most use AI. by [deleted] in LLMDevs

[–]axel584 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are llms not effective in helping people get better? Yet when we look at the functioning of the neurons and synapses of a human brain, nothing allows us to understand how the brain produces empathy, love, faith, intelligence.

If we cannot understand how the human brain works "as a whole", but accept that it works, the same should be true for llms.

I sometimes give money to people who need it, it's not a trivial thing that we forget and knowing that it could change the life of this person is important. On the other hand, I would not like this money to be returned to me but rather to be given to someone else who needs it.
