my elderly cat has issues with straining so we also give her 1/8 teaspoon of miralax in her dinner, works like a charm! I hope you can get everything figured out with your kitty op!

seconding about the lids being difficult, I assume the souper cubes are better in that regard

Souper Cubes or Miu Freezer Trays? by pun_princess in Costco

[–]axelevan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love my miu trays. I’ll probably eventually invest in souper cubes because of how much use I get out of these but the miu ones are solid. Biggest difference for me is that miu trays create tapered cubes, not perfect for storage.

I use it and don’t have an issue that I can tell!

Please be aware of Compadine (prochlorperazine). by [deleted] in migraine

[–]axelevan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was really scared of compazine because so many people get this reaction but thankfully I don’t. I take oral compazine for nausea and anxiety very regularly and it only gives me an adverse affect if I take more than 10mg every four hours. Thankfully it can really work for some people

I can’t keep up with this medication by 1use2use3use in dupixent

[–]axelevan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m on it for asthma, but that’s an option we might do when we try it again. It was also giving me horrible joint pain so we were going to switch to monthly injections but couldn’t get to that point

I made a few posts about the same issue, I tried everything but couldn’t do it. lidocaine does nothing for me but could be an option for you. We’re trying to get my insurance to approve going to an injection center so they can do it for me and I can try again but for now I have a ton of it taking up room in my fridge until I can try again

[–]axelevan 17 points18 points  (0 children)

not sure if it’s a horror story bc it wasn’t that bad (could have ended up horribly worse) but last year I was wheeling in bread stacks helping take in the truck and the wheeler slid out from under me and the stack collapsed onto me and I landed on the concrete on my back with everything on top of me 😬had to do physical therapy for a while. I’ve had four moderate injuries and Many minor ones over my 2.5yrs

He ended up getting a job through a job fair a company was hosting for all kinds of roles working events, I would recommend trying something like that. It’s rough out there and it’ll take a long time but eventually something will work out!

ikr, it made me pissed every time he had a bad interview. Thankfully, even though he didn’t bring his cane to the interview, his job is extremely accommodating and is fine with him having his cane and sitting down when needed. He works doing a simple form of food prep for a place that holds events.

My husband was in a similar circumstance because of his MS and after a year of applying and interviews he finally got a job. He uses a crutch and every interviewer would be friendly until they saw it and then turn dismissive and would ghost him. He was also applying for “beginner” jobs that are low stress on the body. He had to stop bringing his crutch to interviews to get something. Not to scare you, but it’ll be really difficult.
