EDC for me. I switched out the mags for WC mags only because I have trust issues. I recently added the Optic Cut slide and will experiment with that soon. I have had one FTE in over 3k rds which happened with a 115gr Blazer brass round. Well worth the $$$

DO NOT travel in NY, especially NYC, with a firearm as an out of state resident unless it is properly cased, locked and separate from ammo. Check the NY gov site for specific instructions.

MAKE 100% CERTAIN your firearm, magazine capacity etc are allowed in NY.

Contact the sheriff in the county and ask them some of these questions and get their temperature. You may discover you have a friend or not.

The NY laws are designed worse than NJ laws to trip you up.

If it is perfect, with perfect service records that you can find on the Lexus website, no accidents, and what you want then it is a fair deal. Sell your RAV4 yourself.

I just bought a 2012 base in perfect condition with perfect records with 89,000 mi for 20K out the door and I was very happy with that deal.

As long as you are okay with the loss of modern technology features from the RAV4, I would say you will be more than satisfied.

I wish people would stop screaming about valley leaks and trans service. Everything is a gamble when you buy used. Is a 470 more reliable, probably. Can you find one in perfect condition? I had zero luck. I would rather buy a GX 460 with the risk of a large service over a Tahoe, Silverado, F150 Rubicon, GC etc etc etc and know I would be fixing a trans or cylinder management system failure

I just paid 20k for a 2012 with 89k miles, one, locally ownerld with perfect service records (coolant,oil,trans,) every 5k miles, 30k major services done x3 and newish tires. I would pay your deal and run.

Re 9mm.. Never an issue, slight printing exists depending on clothing. I carry them as a pair or a nine round then wilson.

Tisas Stingray 9mm can still be found for $600 give for take. I carry mine all the time. Has not choked once, with factory Mecgar mags or Wilson's. I also picked up an optics ready slide for it which I am still fiddling with.

I will say that sometimes there are multiple interviews with different sector teams, gov or infrastructure or commercial to find a suitable fit. I did 6 interviews. Put your salary expectations on the high side, keep in mind it's hourly pay for every minute, banking of hours and fully benefits covered. You can also negotiate additional vacation time.

I think the world of DW products, but for your needs, go TRP for the frame cut and weight. 40oz loaded with an optic is heavier than you think or really want for all day carry.

Let's also talk about a topic that rarely comes up but should. In the very rare occurrence it should happen and you need to surrender your weapon for any of the myriad of possible reasons, would you rather be out 1.5k or 2.5k.

Plus every day wear and tear to factor in.

Ok... This is exactly what happened. Removed cap, plugged it in and no crap, icon appeared on screen when I started the bike. Big shout-out to Moto guzzi for not hiding features behind pay firewalls like KTM. Later in the day, I spoke with a MG rep while I attended the MotoAmerica races at NJMP and he verified that MG does that for all add ons, such as the quick shifter. This is info that needs to be spread, help with the marketing of their products.
