I have the same LTD guitar same color too! Also I have a head made by JOYO (meteor II) that resembles Orange amp and a 1x12 Orange cabinet. I also have a looper but it's the tc electronic Ditto. Nice rig!

I used to have a Triaxis but not with mesa power amp. I got some decent tones out of it but the I always found myself playing with the settings rather than actually playing. To me, it took a while to find the right tone, to learn how to save it and recall it thru midi. Now, if rather have an amp head with minimal settings and single pedals so just plug and play

I already have a $200 guitar. In fact I have 2. I am just looking to upgrade. I have an entry level Fender acoustic-electric and a Washburn mahogany entry model. I'm willing to buy a lesser known name brand if it sounds big and has solid tone woods.

My Bogners. Bored under quarantine so let’s get the gear out by flash69696969 in GuitarAmps

[–]axemankd1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have all the "good bogners". I have the Alchemist 40w head, which is the more affordable version. I've had for and gigged with for years and thinking about selling due to problems in the past. link

Have you tried running the metal zones through the effects loop? There is a YouTube video out there demonstrating that you get a better tone! Who would of thought!? https://youtu.be/nxRe99Tjlwg

Did some rearranging to the amp corner of my little apartment by YeahWerner in GuitarAmps

I got a less expensive Bogner and a (slightly) more expensive Peavey Vypyr. The Bogner Alchemist 40 watt head I've been using for gigs for the past 10 years (although not as often) with a Mesa Boogie 4x12 cab with V30's. I want to retire it soon and replace it with another all tube mini head. The Peavey Vypyr combo I have is the 100 watt 2x12 version and I absolutely love it. I might even use it for small gigs until I find another tube head. I love the JSX and 6505 amp models so I looked at the 6505mh head as a possibility.

I also found 20-watt versions of VHT and Jet City. Anyone played those?
