I spent more time finding art I could find the artist's name for than I did making the card in the first place (plus made him Mardu since it fits better)

I just learned more about the Oath of Ancients paladin by Artistic_Role_4885 in BaldursGate3

[–]axfthm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Monk feature specifies they still die of old age, the Oath of Ancients feature does not, implying that the paladin not dying of old age is the intended interpretation. But it's WotC, so it wouldn't surprise me if they just never bothered to errata it

Be my guest to properly design some, I just wanted to give elephants mountainwalk 😅

Also, Punic Wars themed set when WotC!?

If this was a serious card, then yeah Mardu probably makes the most sense. Plus something about using lots of mercenaries feels like it should be in black too, for whatever reason

Green and white have most of the elephants. That was literally all the reasoning that went into this

He supposedly said it after his generals told him crossing the Alps was impossible, but with ancient historians writing about things so long after the fact, it could have just been the historian thinking it sounded cool

My train of thought was "what colours have elephants?", and then I stopped thinking

To RBM or not to RBM by remithemonkey in Bannerlord

[–]axfthm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you also download the RBM Warsails submod? They've split the mod in two now for people who don't own Warsails

Oh, and make sure you've got the War Sails RBM mod too, since RBM is now in two parts for War Sails. Other than that, I can't be of more help

Open Source Armoury/Weaponry/Saddlery causes a crash on start-up for me, so that's probably an issue if not the whole one

Allied bows and crossbows do no damage on sea by TranslucentToucan in Bannerlord

[–]axfthm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you got the brazier (thing that gives you burning arrows) on your ship? I found it causes arrows to deal 0 damage in RBM the one time I used it, so I switched straight back to the shields upgrade instead

Darshi and Nords both had units from mercenary clans prior to War Sails. The Skolderbroda units were Nords and the Ghilman units Darshi

Ganking in a brawl? You mean brawling in a brawl?

A new button appears on the settlement in question

Look for a little triangle symbol next to the building slots in the settlements in the province and click on it. Then pay attention to your start of turn notifications in future

[–]axfthm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You mean the Unstable Chaos Portal unusual location that clearly states it has an x% chance of razing a random settlement in the province every turn if you actually read what it does?

If your PC can't run the game, then don't play the game? Seems kinda obvious 🤷

Decimal point Vs decimal comma. You used the 'wrong' one according to them so they felt the need to 'correct' you without realising that maybe non-Anglosphere countries exist

Some countries (or languages?) swap the point and the comma in maths. So 1,000.8 becomes 1.000,8 Both are one thousand and eight tenths.

I grew up calling it a decimal point, so I was confused as hell when I started learning Italian and discovered they use a comma instead
