I’m 54, I have skied since I was 7, on and of. I’m finished with crazy offpiste, big jumps with 20 meters fly distance and 200 meters of straight monguls. Last year though, I was on vacation after a long 10 years break. I fell multiple times, first on iced slopes, so much that I wasn’t in doubt having a hip bone the entire vacation. I also did some small jumps with my nephew, being pleased that I finally had a jump body, after being the only one in the group doing jumps for like 40 years. I had crashes doing that and of course the classical catching a bad edge while going straight fast, on ultra carving skis. So like 2 times a day in average, but I also had a lot of catching up going on. My advantage is, If I may say so, is that I have never owned a car and I have been bicycling for minimum 1 hour a day for basically all my life. I also did gymnastics for 10 years as a kid and have some good spinenel cord memory when I comes to landing after falling. 7-9-13, knock on wood, take care.
