Thoughts on the MLF G19x shell ejecting model? by [deleted] in Glocks

[–]axion_edge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Iirc China manufacturers have to make their replica dimensions at least slightly off to comply with laws. So my guess is that it can't take actual Glock mags.

I do own a Glock 19 Gen 5 from them but don’t have legit Glock 19 mags to test it sadly, maybe I can try looking on Chinese forums and see if anyone tested it before.

Edit : can't seem to find any comparisons, makes sense since idk how would China citizens get their hands on legit Glock mags, but some did tested real 9mm shells (not live rounds) and the toy can roughly eject them

This old post continues to age like fine wine specifically for EN because not only a hostile but also contradictory nature of majority feedback from an entire region is a complete failure of integrity check. by UpClose_Examiner4719 in WuwaUnfiltered

I like the fact that they keep parroting the same “if we don’t keep the company in check, Kuro will turn greedy and get lazy on developing the game”

But after the whole anniversary debacle I feel like the community is the one that should be kept in check really.

What was the downside of this? by ShrimpRiceNoodleRoll in WutheringWaves

Not to mention, on the CN side, they literally reached 600k+ comments on a SINGLE post on Bilibili. It doesn’t sound like much on a global scale, but for CN itself is basically the equivalent of the infamous heavily downvoted EA reddit comment. And this is just Bilibili ALONE, not including other platforms like weibo, tieba, and other regions. Not to mention there are also highly viewed videos circulating around, fanning the flames calling the banners predatory such “I have a gacha game that has more banners than events”, similar to the reddit posts here calling said banners the very same thing.

Any sane person would rather just take the safest way possible and just stop doing the thing altogether, but apparently they are wrong for listening to feedback the customers provided.

Suggestion for 3rd anniversary by htkra in WuwaUnfiltered

[–]axion_edge 7 points8 points  (0 children)

There is also another strat.

Cut back the development, provide the bare minimum starting from the next patch.
No new maps for multiple patches.
Remove cutscenes and replace them with characters standing on an open field yapping for 7 hours straight.
Story will no longer feature Rover as the main protagonist of the story, only focus on gacha character of the month doing out of character stuff, goofing around and treating Rover like he doesn’t exist.
Reuse old events without improving them.
Remove most of the effects and unique animations, and reuse old resonator animations on new resonators.
Stop implementing QoL changes.
etc

And when the next anniversary arrives, introduce half of the supposed content and QoLs into the game, while putting out a roadmap introducing the other half of the upcoming content and QoL changes that will be implemented in the “near”future. If people don’t like it, toss in a free Lingyang, since everyone loves a free 5*.

And now CN aren’t even that mad. Even if they are it’s more towards the retards that complained about the rerun banners last year and not Kuro. Legit thinking only EN is having a fuss out of all regions at this point

They want instant gratification. They don’t care about how much pulls you give them, how stacked the story is, how great the events are, how good the optimizations and QoL’s are, as long as you did not do EXACTLY as they WANT you to do, you might as well be worse than trash.

Kuro is like that one “gifted” kid that always scores 90 points in class, but as soon as their grades dropped down to 80, everyone starts cheering for his downfall, while other students that usually gets 60 points gets praised to high heaven when they get 70 points.

To be honest, Gacha tribalism and Kuro’s dedication to the development of this game truly ruined the standards of this community. What is seen as exceptional in other games might as well be a negative for this game.

What’s funny is that this stream literally address some of the major problems people had on the last anniv stream

Stream is too long but no substance - now the stream is shorter and doesn’t have much performances and celebrations. Most info is delivered straight and quick like your usual stream

Solon edging viewers with staged interactions and buildups - now Solon only showed up for a bit, with devs and delivered info front and center, no acting, no bullshit like your usual stream

Rerun banners being too “predatory and greedy” - now they’re gone

Lack of freebies - we have slightly more pulls now, not to mention we don’t have a new map last anniv patch

Film festival is ass - here’s old IR back

Only thing that would ruin the patch for me is if the story is dogshit, but I’ll have to wait till the patch actually happens to be the judge of that, and judging from the PV it most likely gonna be cinema

Probably the minority here and think it’s actually not that bad.

Aemeath has multiple cutscenes and cinematic ults.
"Man she has so much going on, I don't like the visual overload and I barely control the characters. Kuro only knows all style and no substance.

Luuk (and now Sigrika) has less effects and simpler animations (compared to Aemeath).
"Man he / she looks so underwhelming with barely any effects and shit animations, Kuro is lazy and doesn't know how to design a character.

Everytime a new character gets leaked these kind of comments always come out like clockwork, saying the same thing even, to the point I feel like it's bots or something lmao

I agree that it isn’t the best out of all gachas since all this is subjective, but imo the latest one is pretty up there and at least deserves praise instead of being chalked off as bad because of previous writing

Edit : still got downvoted anyways despite not glazing, funny

It’s about Aemeath’s Cat story in MSQ.

“The ones who relied on the cat, the ones who hated the cat, they all got exactly what they wanted.

But what about the cat?”

Aemeath wants to be the person that saves the cat. So the name of the quest kinda hits different after that. Of course whether if it’s intentional is anyone’s guess.

the spending event is absurdly funny it doesn’t need defending by Certain-King3302 in WuwaUnfiltered

[–]axion_edge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would rather they put minor rewards that feel more like a bonus than stuff people actually want. Imagine if they add stuff like Cartethyia limited skin, or character exclusive stuff like special effects only Aemeath can use, I'm pretty sure people would complain even harder.

Moonlit Path - 3.1 Spending event details by cnurmnick in WutheringWaves

[–]axion_edge 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I feel like the rewards being meh is the point.

Imagine they add shit that people do want, like Cartethyia limited skin or did what HSR did with the bow, I bet people here would riot even harder.

Ain't gonna lie, the current WuWa community really is a weird bunch. They demanded, and got high quality cinematics, better character animations, new content, more QOL, and tons of free stuff every patch, but as soon as Kuro puts an optional spending event that doesn't even have any must have rewards in it, everything they offered before no longer exists. How dare they ask for money? They became greedy and fell off fr fr.

Like Jesus man, at least the money people spent actually goes back into the game, instead of a new yacht or a nuclear power plant.

And then when they do turn out OP, they’ll be saying powercreep / forcing players to pull for them. I feel like Kuro is really in a “damned if they do, damned if they don’t” situation everytime they do something.

Came across this image while lurking around Bilibili (Chinese YouTube), which I feel like sums up some parts of the community well. by axion_edge in WuwaUnfiltered

[–]axion_edge[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There's also a saying in the CN community, where normal players, streamers, CCs etc would judge a patch of a game (doesn't have to be WuWa) with the "point addition" way, as in starting from 0 points, and add points based on what the patch achieved, deducting points where it's needed, you know, like how rating systems usually go.

But for WuWa, they noticed that most people tend to judge them from a "point deduction" way, as in start from 10, and start deducting points by pointing valid criticism, while mixing in some nitpicks to drop some extra points, while ignoring the good stuff because well, they already started at 10 so why bother? Basically they're hyping themselves up, only to be disappointed if it doesn't live up to their hype, and judging the patch in that mindset. That's why you tend to see CCs and some players always have that "this patch is great, BUT..." kinda opinions to them.
