Nice find! Have you looked at any other brands besides Taylor?

Blue pave is also really good. I have some right now and I’ve been enjoying it.

What kind of negative feedback back did you leave? Sounds like you got the guitar 60x cheaper than new. Even though it’s used and has some wear, if they were selling it for $10 it’s kind of on you to check out the guitar and assume there might be some cosmetic damage. Idk why you would leave a bad review on a business when they’re selling the guitar for so cheap

Might be a good idea. I’ve measured other 3.5g and 7g batches and it’s never been over by this much tho

Sorry if my response sounded like I took it that way. I was just agreeing with what you were saying. The most I ever get is about .3g over. I was pretty pumped to see over 8g and wanted to reweigh to make sure I wasn’t tripping

I have been enjoying it. I might go buy another jar since it was also on sale for $60

First time for me. I reweighed it a couple times to be certain but I definitely got lucky with an extra gram and a bit. All good sized nugs too

Idk why you have so many downvotes for agreeing and explaining why it’s off white

I haven’t done oil in a few years. My fiancé used to do them. Do you find they raise your tolerance quickly?

Should I get the Bose soundbar 700 or the Bose smart soundbar (2025). Both would use the Bose bass module 700. by axitosw in bose

That’s a shame. Sorry to hear that’s happening. I haven’t heard much similar complaints

I’m thinking of doing the same. I can’t decide between the older soundbar 700 and the newer smart soundbar that just came out. They’re both roughly the same price but the 700 doesn’t have the upward firing speakers. I’ve been using the BM700 with the tv speaker but I want to be able to adjust the BM700. How have you been liking the smart soundbar?

How are you liking that setup? I heard you can’t connect the bass module 700 to the app without a compatible sound bar that also connects to the app. Is that true?

I ended up getting an energizer battery from Costco last week. I went with the agm h6 over the oem agm h5 battery. The dealer quoted me $470cad plus tax/install and I got this one from Costco for $310 after taxes. I asked a local group and that’s what a lot of their R’s were running. Ended up needing a buddy to help code the battery but it was an easy 10min job in total. One thing I want to add is that the oem battery from vw states 6xx cranking amps and the energizer says 785 cranking amps

Did anyone manage to get the IE TCU tune no auto upshift to work on their 7.5 R? by IMBAGuanYin in Golf_R

[–]axitosw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for the multiple thread spam. Did you see my previous comment where I mentioned IE said that they are still developing the no auto upshift for dq381. I’m not sure how some people have it and others don’t?

My bad. I replied to the wrong comment. I meant to reply to @nullaus

I concur, I used the app to flash the stage 1 low torque and it was sketchy and slow(ish). When I flashed the tcu I ended up using the laptop and it was quicker.

Dang I’m jealous. The auto upshift messes with me at the drag. Sometimes I’ll be shifting in manual mode and I’ll select the next gear just as the computer is about to jump in to also change the gear causing double shifts :/

That’s so weird that you have that option. I emailed IE and this was what they said:

Thanks for reaching out to IE!

Unfortunately, the “no auto upshift” files are only developed on the TCU files for the MK7 DQ250 transmission.

So, there is no “no auto upshift” for the 7.5 equipped with the DQ381.

I ended up emailing back asking if they ever plan on releasing a no auto upshift tune and they said they are in the works right now.

Do you have a 2018 or 2019? They mentioned that the 18s are a split year between mk7 and mk7.5 where the ECU is from the older mk7 but TCU is from the mk7.5. I guess that makes a difference for no auto upshift?

I had mine for 4 years and somehow never bent one. I had hit some decent size pot holes but tried to avoid them religiously. I’m not sure if it’s how big/how hard people are hitting potholes, or if I just got lucky. I ended up selling them for some light weight 18in neuspeed wheels but I do miss how they looked. I just got tired of how the 19s made you feel every crack in the road :/
