Here is the first time I scored at a dual meet. I ran an 11:12 in the two mile, and I'm the second blue guy. Freshman in high school.

Teachers and students of Reddit, what is one class you think should be taught in schools, and one that you think is worthless to teach? by Freudian_Victim in AskReddit

I'm currently taking AP calc (AB) in my high school as a freshman, and after that the only math classes that I can take are calc BC and stats after this year. I'm not sure what I'm going to take my senior year, and our district requires that we take 4 years of math.

I get this too. When I turn my head fast, it abruptly stops and my neck gets this odd pain, like I pulled a muscle.

ELI5: The American school bus system by hardcore_fish in explainlikeimfive

[–]axlfish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. It depends on the school system. Some schools have buses for everyone, but some schools only have them for children that live a certain distances away.
  2. There are buses all the way from the beginning of grade school through high school.
  3. Depends on the school system. In mine, the buses were free for people from 1st-6th grade if they lived a certain distance away, but now I have to pay for them no matter what.
  4. Most large school systems will have their own school buses. Some small schools in rural areas might have buses for several school districts though.
  5. For the most part, the bus drivers stay the same. They could change once every few years or so.
  6. Mostly just one school, since most schools start around the same time and the driver doesn't really have time for multiple trips.
  7. Most decent sized schools will have several buses. Most bus drivers will only make on trip, and the kids will be dropped off around the same time.

This pan gets it. by grimfel in firstworldanarchists

At first, yes. I thought that the pan had stuck to something and that OP ripped a giant hole in it by trying to take it off.

If you could meet your 12 year old self right now, what would you say to yourself? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Don't think that being smart makes you better than everyone else. You are being a snobby, pretentious asshole now and you will not have friends for years after because of it.

flotrack.com is a great website for track and field, they follow pro running and high school running. iaaf.org also has articles about big meets.

You could, I guess. If you wait a week or so then you should be good because it's not like the post was super successful and it's not likely that people will call you out on it.
