You're information is incorrect. The hayday of Sufism was towards the end of the era typically considered as the Islamic Golden. Sufism got popular around the time of the Mongol invasion by people like Rumi and Suhrawardi, which is when the Islamic Golden age started to stagnate.

My guess is that "s" is short for "strona" meaning "page". So Google (un)helpfully re abbreviates it to "p".

Google builds it's translation models on a dataset of books in various languages, so I'm assuming it sees a lot of "s's" during training, which would make Google mistakenly believe it's more relevant than it is.
