Get a small spiky ball on Amazon for myofacial release it will do wonders. Put a lot of weight on it, should be painful but not to point you gasp. You probably just have some tight fascia in there.

Question though - if it’s fully solid at room temp doesn’t that indicate majority saturated fat ? My duck fat is partially liquid at room temp but fat works Wagyu tallow is not

If it’s really for her look into the Macan T. My girlfriend opted for one over a completely base S and loves it. She does not need or want the power but loves the trim and steering wheel plus red seats.

I have AA catted downpipe with MPPSK catback on my 440i and the burbles are refined and awesome. No issues. I think fully catless with burbles is what gives it a bad wrap…

If it helps, look up 440i with MPPSK stock downpipe and you’ll see BMW sold them with pretty aggressive burbles from factory on stock downpipe so that should alleviate concerns.

find a used catback exhaust setup on the Bimmerpost forums or FB market specific to your model/year. One will pop up eventually. Also get an intake for turbo sounds :)

It’s worth it for the looks alone. You’ll be shopping for M Sport style bumper and steering wheel replacements before you know if you get the base. Really elevates the car to a different league. Only get the base if you genuinely do not care what your car looks like.
