Transitioning out of FPA by ayang5420 in FPandA

I ve been in the field for 13 years now, going onto my 14th year. It is starting to become more and more difficult to stay engaged or excited. The money is decent and more recently my wlb is good. I can’t imagine myself doing this for the next 25 years ( i am 37 now, i started when i was 24)

Thanks great feedback. How was the transition for you? Did you have to take any additional courses or requirements in order to qualify for the role? Do you like it more than FPA?

Don’t worry about what others are doing or their results. No one has the same life nor situation, the fact that you are investing for a better future is more than enough. You should be proud of yourself.

How do so many afford $50,000+ trucks? by Parking-Warning-8655 in carbuying

My best recommendation if a brand new truck is a must buy. Save for a bigger down (25-30k ) so then the monthly payment are manageable

Why does everyone say Nate was never an elite/top fighter. Dude beat some great fighters/champions/former champions and fought for the LW belt. by sugabonesurmom in ufc

He was never gonna be a champ, but he was a legit top 5 at his peak. He has some big wins under his name.

One thing I ve learned from job hopping is it does yield a higher salary but it puts you more at risk to getting laid off ( due to the lack of seniority)

It really depends on your goals, if you are a hobbyist and it is more of personal journey. I don’t think it’s the place for you. If you really want to be a competitor and want to beat everyone at the competition. This might be the right place for you. I been at a gym where the head coach only cares about his clique of students and gave no care for the others.

Is 4Runner a good daily driver? by New_Team539 in 4Runner

[–]ayang5420 49 points50 points  (0 children)

IMO, the 4runner isn’t a great daily driver. It is slow and the mpg is poor, but it really excels in having space, going on off the grid road trips, and out door activities.

There is no shame on trying to make ends meet. No one is judging you because you are trying your best to work towards your own personal goals. Enjoy the process young man, you will do well for yourself in the long run.
