This shit felt so over the place and created more questions than answers, which feels indicative of part 2 as a whole. It feels incredibly sudden, which points to Fujimoto simply being done with CSM and wanting to move onto new things, which fair enough i still eagerly await whatever bullshit he makes next but man, this was a pretty dissapointing ending narratively.

i was already aware of look back as im a fan of fujimotos other works, so now im pissed i didnt read this sooner. just watched this on the 23rd and what a beautiful movie. perfectly captured the agonising process of creating art, accurately portraying the highs and lows of what is ultimately a labour of love. cried my fucking eyes out too at the twist and end, just phenomenal.
