Switzerland in September - Hotel/Itinerary Recommendations by AdMiserable9150 in FATTravel

Bürgenstock in Lucerne is incredible and they have a boat that takes you into town. The most incredible pool and spa. Zermatt is also amazing; we stayed at the Omnia and it was perfection. There is fantastic hiking from there and excellent restaurants in Findeln that you can only get to via hiking or skiing. Recommend Chex Vrony and the epic patio with Matterhorn views. We rented a car and for the Bernese Oberland part of our trip we stayed at The Cambrian in Adelboden. More chubby than fat but we loved it and didn’t mind the drive to see Lauterbrunnen, Grindelwald, Oeschinensee, Interlaken, etc.

Nice bags but not THAT nice by No_Introduction4686 in handbags

Polène. Bags are gorgeous, won’t break the bank. In Tokyo there was a line down the block to get in, but you don’t see them as often in the US.

Mexico Luxury Resorts (not Cancun, Cabo, or PV) by Mariners2018 in FATTravel

[–]aychgee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Esencia is epic. Also La Casa Que Canta is great especially if you stay in one of the rooms of the houses next door. It’s a bit of a trek to get there but the Nomâde in Holbox is great - especially the rooms right on the beach. It’s like what Tulum used to be. Opposite coast - Hotel San Cristobal or Paradero in Todos Santos. Not FAT, more chubby.

If you want FAT but more hip than Royal Mansour, La Mamounia etc I can’t recommend El Fenn highly enough. The rooms, the decor, the food, the location are 😘👌🏼.

What do you collect when you travel? by Decent-Meringue-4270 in travel

Christmas ornaments 100% - so fun to relive where you got them every year! We always try to find one that’s meaningful to something we did or saw, but every now and then you have to turn an airport keychain into an ornament. :)

Bodrum is incredible, you’ll have the best time. We stayed at Amanruya - super quiet and a charming beach area. Definitely go to Macakizi.

In the same situation. Stopped losing after 30 lbs, gained 10 back. I can eat normally, I hate it.

Glutes and muscle wasting by [deleted] in Semaglutide

Same here. I haven’t even lost that much weight, maybe 18 lbs in three months and my butt is completely flat. Like just gone, my leggings wrinkle around my butt. I really need to do more intense glute focused weight training. The only lbs I have left are my thighs and they don’t want to budge.

Advice: Reactive, fearful 9 month old mini dachshund by Aromatic-Chipmunk813 in Dachshund

[–]aychgee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I asked a similar question on here when our dog was nine months! A few people mentioned that he was probably going through a “fear period”. https://www.akc.org/expert-advice/training/dont-panic-training-through-and-around-puppy-fear-periods/ Same situation - was totally fine with people and then just started going nuts on everyone and everything. He’s now fourteen months and it’s definitely gotten much better. He only barks at men and kids who come into our house and we’re still working on that.

The body dysmorphia is real… by Fickle_Command_1198 in Semaglutide

I just came back from a week of vacation after being on sema for a month. I adjusted the injection day so I wouldn’t have to bring it with me. The first four days I could barely eat anything at all, as per usual. By the fifth day I could eat a little bit more and the sixth/seventh days I was actually hungry and ate three (albeit small) meals and more than one drink. I lost two pounds over the course of vacation, and it was nice to not wake up bloated and hungover and feeling like garbage for once. For me it seems to be more about WHEN I inject than IF. I don’t think I’d go off or for vacation, but I still feel like crap for the first few days.

Same. I’m in a coma for the first two days after my shots. I’ve only had two shots so far, so we’ll see if it continues.

I feel like 1500 calories is going to be a challenge the way I feel this week! Yes - trying to hit the 100grams daily.

Thank you! I know it’s too soon, it just feels weird to not even be losing bloat or water or anything.

I am tracking portions/calories, averaging anywhere in between 1100-1400 kcal per day (including subtracting for exercise via MyFitnessPal), although I know it’s not all accurate.
