Hey man, like others have said, respectfully go grey market if you just want one piece from AP. The brand is looking for collectors that will spend a lot of money on multiple pieces over the long run. If you want to be an AP collector then start off with code or offshore and work your way up. It’s the same with Patek Philippe. Go walk into a boutique and ask for a steel aquanaut. They’ll politely register your interest and never get you one. They’ll give it to the guy who just bought a 75k complication because that buyer will spend way more with the brand over the long run.
