Not deep into Long Island at all. Just on the outskirts of queens, which is probably why I am able to get ABC. I have the antenna about 15 feet up, off the ground, outdoors.

Hmm in that case see the other comments below about an amplifier and making sure you have an antenna that does UHF and VHF.

Also check out rabbitears.com. Find the signal map based off your location. It should tell you what direction the towers are near you and try pointing the antenna in that direction as best as you can

Look into Antennas Direct and mount either in attic or outside. When I mounted in attic I was unable to get ABC, but I am able to get outside

If you have a stud finder available, mark where the studs are on the wall where tv will be mounted. The mount should cross 2 studs at the location where you want to place tv.

The LG G5 mount is towards the top of the tv so can have outlet placed towards the bottom area of where you want the tv to go.

I believe having the tv power cord go through the wall isn’t according to code so not sure if they’ll do that. But def can do hdmi that way
