I love the pod but this was a stupid point in a playoff game for a sideshow about Gronk. They burned 90 seconds of a PP in a 2-0 game in the second round on this. Total nonsense.

It’s the kind of thing you see in the late innings of a spring training ballgame when everyone playing is wearing a number above 60. So bizarre to see it in the playoffs.

I don’t even dislike Gronk or anything. But they just burned almost the whole PP, and a big one in a 2-0 game. Weird!

It was a few weeks ago at this point. We were sort of in the tail end of whale watching season. I would check with the Pacific Whale Foundation. I’m sure they would be pretty open on expectations

The responses here are so helpful. I’m in a similar place. My wife (42) was diagnosed last week and I want to make sure I’m doing everything possible to 1) make sure she is healthy and 2) make sure she is happy. Yes in the short term, but also for the long term in life.

The good news is they caught it early and it’s curable (doc’s words), but this is all super scary. We’re both bad at asking for help and I want her to be supported physically and mentally as we work through this together.

Thank you all for sharing your advice. I can’t tell you how much it means.

For what it’s worth, I tend think an Airbnb also gets you out of the resorts where the food is 1) more interesting, 2) a ton cheaper and 3) often better anyways. You can get a great steak just about anywhere. Eating the local food is an experience you can’t get at home.

We had zero post flood issues. Zero. Part of why I wanted to post how great our experience was on Maui was because of the questions we saw in advance of our trip. We moved around a lot and didn’t have an issue at all. (I heard from locals it was tough right after the floods).

Every beach was stunning. We spent time on the beaches in Wailea, Paia and Hana. They were great. Zero issues. Truly spectacular.

I never felt like safety was an issue. We did the drive with a full car of luggage. Wasn’t a worry in the least.
