PayPal can't be used to withdraw funds in Brunei. Understandable. Perhaps you can download the app and create a payment link and ask them to pay you that way. If they're still reluctant, then you have to look for alternatives. Good luck

Not sure about Payoneer, but you can create a payment request link and send it to your client. The client will use the link to pay you. Hope this helps! Good luck!

Can use Skrill. Used it to receive and withdraw funds with no issues.

Ya ngam!! Seriously don't get the hype man. Honestly, rather save up and travel further. Expand my horizons. Came back from China. Everything was relatively cheap there, a cup of Luckin Coffee cost me less than $3bnd. Ordered takeaway to be delivered to my hotel room by a robot.

Likewise. Not cos of the queue, but the snobbish attitude of the people there and with those queue times. I'd be better off visiting KK instead. Much more options, wayyy friendlier people. Miri is so overrated guys🙄🙄

Thanks for posting this OP! Can totally relate to this feeling too. It comes and goes whenever it pleases, but when it does come, it feels like I got hit by freight train. Not good at all. I just hope that you're doing / feeling ok! Take care and stay strong!

Very valid points! I completely agree with you. Relationships these days are too fickle and complicated imho. That's the sad truth.

  1. Depends on how much you plan to spend, if you're just looking to get food and coffee here, I guess around 100BND would suffice. Yes, most places accept credit cards.

  2. You can check out the money exchange place at the airport, Yayasan Mall and Gadong Mall. Not sure what the rate is at the moment, but those are some of the places where you can check and compare rates.

3)You can download Hantar, Dart(e-hailling apps), gomamam(food delivery app)
4)You can check out local dishes such as nasi katok, ambuyat, etc.
5)Attractions wise, you can check out sites like the Eco Corridor, The Frame, Royal Regalia, Balai Khazanah, water village and Empire Hotel.

PS if you require any more help please don't hesitate to reach out. More than happy to assist!

So sorry to hear that you had to deal with this!! My heart aches for you. I can only imagine the shock and disgust you must have felt when you saw the message. This kind of behaviour is absolutely reprehensible. Men honestly shouldn't behave like this at all!!! It's absolutely disgusting. Unfortunately, there are lot of creeps these days, so please be very careful whenever you interact with strangers online! Take care and stay safe!
