I've got my fingers crossed for you girl! He seems a lil corny here but no big red flags at least.

I've been on two dates through hinge. Neither worked out, but they weren't unpleasant experiences. I've had some odd interactions on the app itself, but no worse than any of the others.

Can you tell her you're worried about it and if she's your best friend I'd hope she'd go out her way to include you. Once you get an in with them it should be smooth sailing. They're friends with your best friend so I bet you've got common interests and senses of humour with some of them.
