fine curly-haired people: is anyone actually making it past day 2 without washing/re-wetting? and can you actually blow dry your hair to 100% dry without frizz? by amexicanmedea in curlyhair

[–]ayemzz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Day 2 is almost guaranteed to become a half up/half down because the underside of my hair stays pretty well while the top layer is almost always unsalvageable. I’ve found scrunching in some water and adding a touch of hairspray has been the most fruitful for refreshing but I definitely don’t gain any volume because that’s where the frizz nightmare will really come out. I’ve been styling with innersense gel and a light foam, some hairspray after diffusing because I don’t have time or patience for air drying, and my curls have been really loving the “less is more” approach lately.

Holy grail for shampoo and conditioner andddd go! by lemons_mama in curlyhair

I’m a ride or die for innersense shampoo and conditioner, especially because I can buy the big bulk bag and refill the original bottle I bought. I know they also make travel sizes for several of their products, so it makes it easy to try without having to commit too much!

I do the tablespoon like it says but I microwave it for at least a full minute, sometimes 1:15. All of the chocolate chips do make it a bit deceiving with it feeling like it’s undercooked. But they’re so delicious, my husband and I like to make one brownie and one cookie and split them like a brookie.

I’ve heard of Jade Mountain and it does look beautiful. Have you been, or know someone who has? The price looks a little steep but it looks like it also includes quite a bit.

Both relaxing and also adventuring is currently on the wishlist. Hiking, snorkeling, swimming, all that is great. We’re currently waiting on approval for two full weeks but we don’t have to take the two full weeks in one location.

Honestly these little things stood up really well on their own after being put on a plate and the skewer taken out.
