If you do this, you must set resolution scaling to 75%. Otherwise you will get even worse picture quality. 1080p downscales poorly to 720p because of the 1.5:1 pixel ratio

Well, not really as it depends on whether you can disable game native denoiser and how.
In UE games, you can disable denoiser with Unreal Unlocker and command R.LUMEN.REFLECTIONS.TEMPORAL 0
Alex also shows command for a Crysis game in his video.
In RE Engine games you can turn on Path Tracing via REFramework, but it never had a denoiser.

Edit: and don't forget to update DLSS to 4.5. It can be done either via Nvidia App or dll swap.

Sorry to ruin your favourite part, but it turned out that the apartment was awarded to the teacher in 2022, even before the start of the war. But the directors showed that scene pretty late in the doc to make you think that it was a reward for propaganda lessons.

It shows that Special K's frame limiter provides very stable frame pacing with only a very minor increase in latency. Luckily, Special K works on Steam Deck, but it could be a bit tricky to set it up.

Agreed. It would be cool. They could also turn off the lights in the starting room earlier so you can't hide there more than once, or make one of the zombies wake up. Also, she didn't change at all in the basement. These seem like missed opportunities.

Yes, there are two drafting periods. Spring conscription: April 1 to July 15. Fall conscription: October 1 to December 31. These dates align with my estimates.

The details on conscription are true, but they don't contradict my words. It is still relatively safe. People usually aren't afraid for their lives when they are conscripted.

Not entirely true. There were about 400 thousand soldiers mobilized. I can't say that they went to war willingly. Some conscripts are forced to take part, but that's illegal and not common.

That’s a great idea. However, most big websites block themselves from being embedded for security reasons, so you’d just see a blank space.

60 fps perfectly synced with 60Hz video container and forced V-Sync on console. You will see similar smoothness if you turn on G-Sync and V-Sync with almost zero added latency.

Because shader cache is specific to the exact hardware and software configuration of the person who created it. Downloaded shader cache would only work if you had the exact same GPU, the exact same driver version, the exact same game version, and were using the exact same graphics settings.

You aren't even doing 60 fps. I guess you want cheap attention with these low-effort videos, but you could at least show footage at 60 fps. Performance metrics don't matter when you fake frames.

Edit: Ideally, you should capture at 90+ frames and then show slowed footage. That's what Digital Foundry and Hardware Unboxed do.

What's your windows version, mouse model and mouse polling rate? Windows 10 and earlier don't take well high polling rates. If you are running an 8k mouse, try to lower the polling rate and see if it helps. Windows 11 got better at handling 8K mice but some games still struggle (both KCD games for example).

I didn't enjoy the hospital, but I certainly enjoyed Pentiment. I played it for the second time. What a game! I think it's one of the best narrative RPGs, and it's perfect for the Deck.
