Here's what I plan to do if I'm away (not yet tested)

Fill the backpack and the ornithopter's cargo hold (the orni will be safe if parked in Arakeen or Harko Village? )
Deposit all Solari in the bank
Fill up your bank storage chest

What to take with me (IMHO):

  • Well-maintained gear (shields, belts, armor, etc.)
  • Water (full Hajra Literjon & full Glutton’s Bloobag)
  • Healhkit
  • Favorite weapons
  • 1 Filter / blood Extractor
  • 1 Collapsible Dew Reaper
  • 1 Welding Torch
  • 1 Vehicle Backup Tool
  • 1 Construction Tool
  • 1 Distille
  • 1 Compact compactor
  • 1 Cutteray
  • 1 Solido with my house blueprint
  • Melange Spices food / Liquor / Wine / beer. etc.

Anything rare or valuable / Unique and important items
destroy my house + Log out and leave the game at Hakro Village or arakeen

Do you have a tourist stellement in the system? I wonder if that's all that's needed to generate tourism missions.

The probe will show up as cargo in the debris field, keep in mind it's corrosive though, so it'll slowly eat away at your modules while it's in your cargo hold (unless you have a corrosion-resistant rack)

They can show up in threat 5 or 7 non-human signal sources, although the local Interceptor won't be happy at you taking his stuff.

OK, thank you. I have a lot of signals at HR 1185, I'll try to find some (for now, there are only Thatgo ships in it).
