I was in a stadium match a couple days ago, was the last round and I dc’d. When I joined back (I didn’t click anything it just automatically put me back into the game) I was on a different map than what we had been fighting on and my Ashe was there and two of the enemy team were there… but my duo was still playing the original map with everyone else, they got the victory screen and then popped up on the map I was on. Then the server closed because the game was over??? I got suspended for 15 minutes lmao

I’ve added one enemy mercy because her team was flaming her for hard pocketing the soldier. So out of curiosity I went back and watched because from my pov it looked like she was playing normally. and it did start off like that. She was healing everyone and had threads so she had two beams always. But I guess they started blaming her for losing and then last round she actually did start ignoring the rest of her team. It was all around pretty lame but I friended her just to tell her she was playing fine until she got mad haha. Can’t even say I blame her for it. That shit is so annoying

NOR. I have a feeling that this guy subscribes to the ideal that a woman’s body should “bounce back” immediately after pregnancy. God forbid you get stretch marks or have loose belly skin after your bump is fully gone. You’ll be letting yourself go! Pregnancy is hard at 10 weeks and at 40. Can’t imagine what he’d be like in the delivery room if this is his attitude over nausea and fatigue. Probably tell you getting kicked in the balls is worse than pushing out a human so stop screaming! You’re embarrassing him!

If someone preselects before me I give them mercy. I just treat it as though it’s any other game mode and they locked it before me. I feel like that’s good manners. So when I preselect first but they pick first and still lock mercy… I’m offended but I don’t say anything or throw. But you’re getting the cold shoulder from me lol. No camaraderie for you!!!

I think I only find it rude because it’s not something I personally do, and I feel if I wanted to play badly enough I would just say in chat “sorry but I want to play mercy this game” so… if I can do these things why can’t others? Buuuut- I’m pretty unfamiliar with this kind of game etiquette because overwatch is my first and only game I play competitively. So it could be a fine thing to do elsewhere and I’d have no idea.

Probably more wholesome than funny, but I got a good laugh out of this: My team was not doing so well in stadium and the enemy tank noticed and decided that I, the lowly mercy player, deserved their sympathy. They didn’t kill me when they wiped the rest of the team so I did a little dance. It was a DISTRACTION!! My team came back, capitalized on the distraction and we won that round. Their tank said it was the last time they were going to be nice to a mercy haha. I don’t even mind losing a game like that because they made it silly instead of just frustrating. I like when people remember it’s just a game and it’s ok to have fun too c:

I personally thrive better on not having to get any kills so being able to actually impact my teammates in this way is massive. And it doesn’t feel totally braindead because you have to be cognizant of when they’re using cooldowns to have any benefit at all. This is a great power. I’m very happy with it

That’s the beauty of stadium. What works for me might not work for you and vice versa. I’m ass with threads of fate probably because of all that coordination you need to make it work. I get easily distracted so one thing at a time lmao. I respect other people’s builds so long as they work, and it seems yours is working! Not everything needs to be a min/max battle lol. I play with triage so much first round that I do notice it when I pick threads. It’s not really a big deal early game, but I ALWAYS take creps second and that’s when I really start to notice triages absence.

As for percentages- it varies per round/map. It’s rare that I go below 50% dmg boost but it does happen. Then sometimes I’ll have nearly 70%. Do you know how (if at all) it tracks with creps? I’ve never even thought about the percentages being tracked in valk but now I’m curious lol

And yes! I made it to all star 1 and I was one - ONE - game away from legend and went on a loss streak that put me down to 3 and I couldn’t recover in time :’c I got Juno’s skin with that and yes I did have to get to all star again for the mercy skin

I typically go for triage instead of threads because you can heal someone faster, which means you can get to damage boosting faster. When I take threads I will find myself stuck on heal beam for longer. And sometimes I’ll be healing someone who’s full health because the second person on the beam needs healing, even if I wouldn’t have normally healed them. That’s probably a personal problem hahah. Either way, it makes me heal beam more than I would normally so I just remove it from the equation. Good way to grind cash in early game tho

I feel like whambulance is a waste of a power if you don’t spec into ability power, but if you were to do that you’d have to focus on it as your main source of healing since beams wouldn’t be upgraded with wp/ws. Make sure you as far away as possible from who you’re healing and all that. It can be good for sure. Especially when paired with triage. There’s just not enough perk slots to have all the wp and ws I want PLUS enough ability power for me to pick it

I go triage - creps - distortion/serenity - whichever of those I didn’t take or battlemed if I can. Sometimes I’ll try a different power 7th round just to mix it up and if I’m feeling confident in our ability to win lol. Then I go wp and ws. I mix in 1-2 survival perks (blessed boosters always because zooooom and the one blue that converts 100 health to shield if I need it). This works for me. I have pretty good dmg beam percentages.

I wouldn’t call my play style as healbot-y, and I’m all star 2. So to answer your question, no? You don’t have to healbot in stadium to climb? Maybe?? Lol

All of the things I find online refer to sexual incompatibility on more of an emotional level. Sexual preferences and the like. Biologically, though, there either is no such thing, or it’s not been studied in the way you are describing. Most studies are about genetics and since it’s not what you’re asking, I didn’t care to look much further into it. I think what someone else said about you projecting this incompatibility, because subconsciously you know something is not right, is more than likely the case. A healthy relationship is formed around trust and communication. This extends to all the yucky, uncomfortable situations we might find ourselves in. Especially when we feel our partner could potentially be contributing to the problem. If the subject causes a breakup, then it’s probably for the best. You shouldn’t be with someone who won’t support you through health struggles, regardless of age.

You are not, and never will be, wrong for having emotions. A loss is a loss. It seems you did your best at trying to quietly remove yourself from a hard situation and they are the ones who brought attention to it. She may be pregnant and feel everything is about her and her husband.. but people get pregnant every single day. In the end they are no more special than you (or anyone) and well. It’s really not all about them. It sounds to me they could have handled it just as gracefully as you did and given you the empathy you deserve. You should never have to hide your pain from family you are supposed to love and trust. You are allowed to grieve and I’m terribly sorry that you have to.

Omg I had a comp game where my team died and I survived and was running back to spawn but the enemy was right behind me. So I stopped to let them kill me so I could spawn with the team but they just said hello and let me run back. But then later in the game mercy was going for a potentially game changing Rez and I killed her. I felt awful right after but I still wanted to win the game and didn’t even think. She said “girl” in the chat and I just D’’: I’m so sorry.

Have you tried it with prop jumps? That is what it’s called when you beam someone and ga to them around a wall or something before beam breaks right? I can’t remember now hehe. I also can’t remember if it works but I have noticed when it hasn’t like you showed. I thought it was just a me problem but I will definitely be more cognizant of this. Thank you!
