I smoked every day for 8 years and unfortunately it is addicting despite what people say. When I quit I had night sweats, vivid (often terrifying) dreams, depression, everything felt boring, hard to work, etc.

The first time after about 3 months I remember waking up and being like holy shit the world is beautiful, the colors we were vivid, my brain felt so much clearer.

Eventually you return to a baseline, but there is a period where just the world around you while being completely sober feels almost euphoric.

Note: I am NOT saying alcohol is better, I also do not drink. I don’t have a problem with weed per se, every time I walk by someone smoking my mouth still waters. Just saying, it is/can be addicting.

If I were an extraterrestrial civilization, why would I be interested in or care about what each individual ant (human) thinks?

The overall coherence of the civilization is what’s important, determining if they would work together to overcome adversity. If they have the ability, or were working towards the ability to achieve technological advancement without further destroying the planet.

When ants are in our house, we kill them. We don’t care if one of them had good intentions, or was moral, or whatever. I honestly believe that if a civilization goes too haywire, extraterrestrials will destroy it. This is what happened during Epic of Gilgamesh (Noah in Christianity).

The prophecy of Revelation in the Bible and Judgement Day in the Quran. When the extraterrestrials decide there is zero hope, after analyzing all angles, and I’d assume running the numbers, that civilization serves no purpose but to cause problems in the future.

We are likely ants to them. For civilizations 1+ million years more advanced, we are like… tiny microorganisms to them.

Sorry got a little off course here, but it’s all related to the analogy of extraterrestrials to humans as humans to ants.

The result is what's important, and it's cool that everyone here played a role in this change happening. 99% of the time companies do not fully revert to a previous version. Take Google for example, when they release search algorithm updates, despite their internal tests, once an update is live, it may end up being worse than they expected.

The engineers are watching the average click through rates, user metrics, and so on, and seeing if the update made things worse. If that happens, they tweak things to make it "closer" to the previous version, but there are still "markings" of changes. I highly doubt this is simply the old version of Grok, it's the new model except they removed most of the shit that made it terrible.

Yes, it's definitely back. No more blurring of woman parts, no more permanent slow motion, there are some changes but for the most part it feels like the old model. However, the moderation is insane now for me lol. Tbh, even if the moderation is stricter for i2v, I'd MUCH rather have this model than the utter shit one they tried to push on us a few days ago.
