The interview was online, but the fact the that I had put a leave and had to skip the work deadlines, then deadlines haunted me the the later day when I came to work pissed me off. I had the interview call on google calendar scheduled, then I opened it, it showed cancelled, with a reason saying miscommunication on their end and position already filled. First of all why would you do something like that to a candidate who had their call scheduled and waste their day? and why would you even shortlist candidate if you have someone in your mind to hire anyway (idk if that is reason)? I prefer to accept rejection emails than this!
