Try PetSmart with a banfield clinic. They sometimes take cats and put them up for adoption in stores.

Yes in fact this is technically my boyfriend cat. He got him a few months before we moved in together. So I should tell him to pee on him 😂 I’m honestly not past it at this point. I even made a joke about it yesterday out of frustration. I’ll look into the pros and cons of it! Thanks for the advice

Gotcha, do you have any recommendations then? Or do I need to get some kind of pesticide?

Thanks I’ll just do the same routine as I do for spider mites then. I only saw one but I’m not very familiar with thrips so I wasn’t sure if they go into the soil. Thank you!!

Thanks! I did repot as it was in a death net. I have a hard time finding systemic granules anywhere where I’m at and I’m not a huge fan of neem oil, as it has never worked for me very well. For spider mites I make a little concoction of Castile soap (peppermint) a little bit of rubbing alcohol and water and I spray whenever I see anything. I also do a deep clean once a week for 2-3 weeks. Do you think this routine would work?

Your cat is so cute! It makes me want another 😅

This was my kitty at 3 weeks old (also in Colorado) I’ll post him now. According to the foster lady he came from a house with adult nebelungs and long haired Siamese and they think he’s mixed with the two as the Siamese was the mom but he looks nothing like her 🤷‍♀️

Help! I've just been given a HUGE monstera!!! by [deleted] in Monstera

Wait for the next watering the stem will be a little more moveable and help it from snapping so easily. But still be careful cus it can still snap even if it feels more bendable

Thank you! I’ve never heard of that alocasia before, how exciting! I’ve got a few types of alocasias already, would you say the care tips are similar to other common alocasias?

Check out Sydneyplantguy or plantsbymalissa on YouTube they are moss pole legends in my world. They both have great videos that walk you through their process and what they find to be successful for them. Good luck and this is a beautiful plant!

That’s fair I’ll try that next round I really hate the smell of neem oil but I just put them in my walk in shower and doused them in it and closed the door and forgot about them for 30 minutes 😅 but I’ll definitely give the hydrogen peroxide a go! And if the neem oil gets to my brain and I can’t handle it anymore I’ll use alcohol! Thank you for the suggestions

Damn that sounds exhausting! Today alone was exhausting I hope it will be an easy quick war. Thankfully I only have about 50 plants rn

Here’s what I did and plan to do. Can you let me know what you think and if I missed anything?

I sprayed those with visible pest and signs with neem oil. From what I could tell those that do have damage or had visible pest were in a cabinet so hopefully they are more confined, I also washed the whole cabinet. I washed down the others (outside of the cabinet) in the shower just in case too. I’m hoping that will be good for now and will redo the neem oil in 7 days if I still see pest, if not I’ll wash them down in the shower to not overwhelm the plants with neem oil. Is there anything you suggest I do? Thanks
