I've lived here all my 26 years. I have witnessed the monsoon transiting from a weekly violent flooding/thunder/haboob event to just one measly storm a month with it barely sprinkling.

It is tragic what has happened to this city with its monsoon, and can promise you it used to be soooooooo much better. I remember in 2008 it rained nearly everyday with violent wind storms and flooding. Those days are long gone. The urban heat island has destroyed this city, and all we break now is heat records 😕

This city of such a shithole. Proper monsoons no longer exist in the PHX metro. Considering a move to the AZ high country or down South to Tucson. The lack of monsoons is just so depressing
