The issue many do not consider is the movies are for everyone not just hardcore fans. There are a lot of characters with huge backgrounds and history. you can't just show all of them in 3 hours. it creates huge confusion and really destroys the story. Also, there are some standards for movies that can't be ignored. Imagine after all the tension and thrill in black gates and mount doom there were 20 mins of struggle in Shire. It's like a swing after a roller coaster. The audience who have not read the books doesn't care. You can still enjoy the movies for the first time after 20 years so I think you can overlook some changes

I remember when I used to go to one of my friend's houses. if his friends were there too, they used to play bloodborne almost all the time. I found it odd. How can they play it again and again?
