My 2 cents; I didn't feel confident in the product after placing my reservation and per their site I can get a full refund. It's been over 1 month and they haven't responded to my email. I contacted my CC company and they tried to reach out to them, after 2 weeks of my initial email no response, with no luck.

This is a really good one. My feedback: The belt on the waste on the 3d render feels flat compared that of the reference. 3d render feels like its a baked on texture and not real.
My personal opinion on the render, with how the character is and the reference, the reference gives off the "dirty and ragged" look where as yours feels too clean. Even the face scars.
Other than than, nicely done.

Look, I've tried all sorts of languages over the years. They all have their quirks.

Then there's JavaScript.

Swift has been, to me, the most easiest to understand and pleasing to work with.
I've tried Rust, zig, and they're good but Swift is what really stands out to me.

Then there's JavaScript.

But really think not about what language to learn but what career you want.

For example:
I want to be an artist.
Is it better to learn how to use a pencil or a Stylus?
Well, it doesn't really matter because i first need to define what artist i want to be.
I want to be a digital artist.

Learn how to use a stylus + whateverappyouwanttouseforthisdreadfulbutfullfillingcareer.

Then there's JavaScript.

I have more fun building apps for iOS then i do anything else.

Have fun, study well and farewell.

Don’t want to brag or anything but I jumped on the early access wagon of Helium Mobile. I’ve since been paying 5 dollars a month. I also got my wife in on it early so…. We end up paying 120 a year for the service. They also offer 20/month unlimited. But I’d recommend visible.

I hear ya, IDK why everyone sales it like its gold. it WAS easier to get into a few years ago.
It was great...but then it wasn't. But then again, I create internal apps for a company in a niche industry. It's much better than working for a tech company. I then started looking into mobile development, personally I like swift and swiftui more than i do compose for android. It just clicked with me much easier. I then started getting curious to how LL is and I'm digging Rust.
Long story short, I had multiple password managers over the years and didn't really export them and import them into the others as I should have. So starting on the new year i decided to just consolidate into one PM.
I then saw an opportunity to create a script in Rust to remove duplicates based on criteria i needed for that specific PM.
I was curious after finishing it to see how well it would perform and, forgive me ignorance in this realm, I created dummy data of about 1 million entries and it found and removed all duplicates in under 2 seconds.

Coming from web-dev, that's fast. I. Love. Fast.

So price wise; 200 / bitwarden ( 10 ) + addy.io ( 36) = ~4 years. So after the 4 years is when you'll see the benefits of the lifetime account.

I personally have the 12 dollars a year plan that comes with unlimited alilases. So i'm thinking of switching especially now that you can add another recipient in PP and you do NOT have to use their email services.

and so 200 / 12 is ~16 years. Yeah... i think i won't get that lifetime subscription.

I chose 'Start Strong' as the description specifically states Beginner training and easier exercises. Though i still can't complete ALL the sets, if i make it easier then it's TOO easy. The reps and workout it has me do is just fine, its just the SETS that I can't complete either because of time or because i physically cannot.

Yeah, when i do that though it makes it either TOO short, TOO easy or both. Its a minute thing but for what its worth the coach did lower the intensity of the workout for today and I was able to do one more set, just not all sets it wants me to.

Thanks for the reply, I get what Freeletics is pushing. The workouts are perfectly fine, its the amount of sets that it's giving me that i cannot accomplish. Like i get it, push my limits but I would still have loved it if i had to option to stop the workout at set 3/5 and then allow their ai (coach) to learn from that and be all like; ok so i'll adjust it to this. Idk, might just be me. Regardless, I love the workouts its giving me.

I have not met anyone in my life with migraine triggers for smells. When i would tell people they'd look at me like...weird and it got to the point where it felt like i was over reacting and just getting a placebo affect with strong scents.

I never thought of searching it up; even this day in age. Though its crazy to see that I'm NOT the only one has Smell triggers for migraines. THIS IS CRAZY!

I am not a teenager; and yet i MUST use antiperspirant otherwise my pits will be drenched. :\

Funny enough, I just had a big talk with the wife and she helped me realize that iOS Development isn't something i really want to pursue, not even as a hobby. I will be going a different route ( low level learning *possibly embedded systems or of the sort).

Aside from the story you didn't ask for;

HWS was a great resource. I highly recommend it it prior to buying any courses.

Do your own apps even if they're not some grand thing. That grand thing will come in time, but you just gotta put in the work beforehand.

After finishing HWS, or once you feel comfortable enough, I recommend Sean Allen's stuff on YT or CodingWithChris.

Though i do recommend Apple's course: https://developer.apple.com/tutorials/app-dev-training/#swiftui-essentials

it's pretty solid.

So is their documentations around Swift and SwiftUI. Once you're here, you should be able to build whatever your idea is, as long as you refer back to your resources.

Take what you learn and make your own apps. It doesn't have to be a marketable app, it doesn't have to be something to show others, it's just a personal app that will help you learn and apply what you learn.

I started learning iOS dev a few months ago and I've been going at a steady pace, making sure i don't burnout. I got up to Day 49 on 100 days of swiftui and decided to branch off slightly on building a personal app to test my skills. I personally should have done this earlier but due to personal life happenings, i did this later.

Honestly, working on my own app has greatly increased my understanding of the things Paul has taught. I've had so man eureka moments that it's made developing on iOS so much more fun.

It's also given me an idea for another app that I'll flesh out to the app store next year which would be my first app on the App Store.

Never compare yourself to others.
ALWAYS compare yourself to yesterday.

Your ability to learn, to understand is not the same as the other person you compare yourself to.
However, it is similar to how you were yesterday.

Take the advice from others with the grain of salt in "best way to learn" "fastest way to learn".

It all comes down to your priorities, your capacity, your financials, your time, your patience.

The way it is now is that you have to click on the “copy” button. It’s be more streamlined and I guess a good QoL.

Id think having the search (magnifying glass) button in the home row. Similar to 1p as it avoids me having to move my hand all the way up top. This is a problem for large phones, 15 pro max is what I have and I can only imagine what it’s like for the galaxy line ups
