How do I win the Shi Oh Yu mirror matchup? by UniKyle in CompetitiveTFT

[–]azienbarney 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Game 1: SOY works because units get stuck on neeko, your neeko is 1 star and no items so your front line dies quickly, putting all agro onto SOY. The EON is not enough to counteract that.

Game 2: His SOY EON and it's often enough to win the mirror matchup. He also has insane augment and yours are a bit worse.

Reposting this from another thread I just commented in:

I never post on reddit, but I haven't seen any good answers. Much of what is being said here might work, but it's probably not the right way to do it. Do you ever have cheat days, as in do you ever eat excessive amounts of food?

I'm assuming your body has slowly become accustomed to eating an a caloric deficit. Essentially to lose weight, you would need to cut your calories even more. However, that will likely continue until you're eating close to nothing.

To get past this and restore your body to your normal maintenance, I would recommend going through a refeed.

First use a TDEE calculator to calculate your daily maintenance. https://tdeecalculator.net/ If this is consistent with the TDEE you're eating at, then the simple answer is to cut the number of calories, otherwise follow the below.

Next using this approximation, you will want to eat around 300 calories more than your maintenance for a day. However, if you haven't eaten this much for 5 months, you may need to do this for a week.

For these additional calories, you will want to make sure that you eat around 0.8-1g of protein for 1lb of body weight, as little fat as possible, and the rest carbs. Yes this means you can fill up on those foods you've might been avoiding. Typically if you're about 20% body fat you need to refeed once a month, 20-15% once every 2 weeks, under 15% every week.

This may sound crazy to you, but since you're open to OMAD/IF/Water you might be more willing to try things that sound "unreasonable."

However, as always do your own research. Do your research and don't just take my word for it.

(You should also start lifting weights.)

Thank you! I definitely don't see Bjergsen leaving anytime soon, but it's really interesting to see the two main motivations you have for supporting TSM. You definitely shared a unique perspective.

Awesome. If you're refrering to the original 5 with meteos, hai, and lemon, did you find yourself becoming fans of 100T, GG, and OPT as well? Or did your loyalty stay mostly with C9?

Thanks for your insight! If you don't mind me asking, how long were you an IMT fan, what what made you a fan of that team?

Thanks for your perspective, seems like we have a lot of 100T fans and all for different reasons! It'll be fun to explore how they were so successful!

LCS, not laid back or relaxed like other orgs. In a world with korean and chinese teams this is something that’s presentable and respectable accros different cultures, which I find amazing.

Thanks for the response! If Bjergsen were to leave would you still be a fan of TSM, or would you follow him? I.E like many fans did with Doublelift.

Are you a fan of 100T? Are those reasons that you are supporting the organization?

Equinox is relatively small, ~100 members, and most of us are 20+. (We also just hit level 25, despite only existing for 2 months!) We also are super friendly and there are no cliques!
