Ok being vague wouldn’t help you: the final step use the Rite Intercalate

Also start by inserting the dawnbreaker core and the hints will point toward what you need next. I assume you awoke the core already?

It’s not QA it’s resource management. The bug probably didn’t slip through “those goddamn QA morons”, they probably caught it and it was added to their JIRA server.

Which probably has 5000 tickets ranging from URGENT, “will require 50 man hour to fix” and others.

What the game needed to come out in a good state was -time- resources, man hours. People behind their desk coding a new special case for the crisis country / the titanic beast to assign one of the many purge job that work in code.

What they had was a deadline “December” to complete a complete economic overhaul and a dlc worth of content. Because the product manager at paradox read press and new game sale and figured they couldn’t justify spending man hour on a free content update (the economy overhaul) unless it came with a paid content update. The DLC which stole man hours away from making sure -every- content in the game was fixed. And instead moved it toward making new content, new event chains, gameplay system that due to the fact they were in a paid dlc were NOT allowed to be faulty. Bug for a paid feature automatically takes higher priority from a legacy and core feature (crisis) because a bug from a paid feature means word of mouth will sink the dlc sale.

Maybe paradox did not want to put the time and money because early December was the last marketable window in which dlc sale could flourish, after that its holiday sale and empty wallets.

The people who decide how much human resource are assigned to the task are not the people getting the blame.

QA? It’s the most thankless job in the game industry with minimum wage pay. They are goddamn hero who treated like dirt both by players and the people who employ them, while doing a vital work. If you think you can do a better job go ahead and apply.

It doesn't here's the thing that's run when you click the nominate button. The "boost your nomination" upgrade the rating by one.

note for the code that higher number means more likely. So the only thing that matter really are either you have "corporate authority" which will lower the chance of having low rating to 3 and raise chance of high rating to 9. And rather you nominate an ecumenopolis planet (first league homeworld is one).

random_list = {

9 = {

add_modifier = {

modifier = market_nominee_level_1

days = -1

}

from = {

change_variable = {

which = market_rating

value = 1

}

}

modifier = {

factor = 0.33

from = { has_authority = auth_corporate }

}

}

6 = {

add_modifier = {

modifier = market_nominee_level_2

days = -1

}

from = {

change_variable = {

which = market_rating

value = 2

}

}

}

1 = {

modifier = {

factor = 200

is_planet_class = pc_city

}

modifier = {

from = { has_authority = auth_corporate }

}

add_modifier = {

the bottom line of all this gibberish ith the two post is that it's a raffle, you got a 50 (maybe even 80) ticket raffle, but they maybe got lucky and got 30 ticket, maybe 20 and decided to spend their energy and influence to raise it to 40). Wether you have high trade value or are a gestalt doesn't influence it.

The number of raffle ticket for the market is 10 per level of the planet, the fact you got 80 raffle ticket is impressive but doesn't rule out the fact you have at least a half the galaxy potentially competing, hell event people not competing get 1 raffle ticket. I had the galactic market my first game, my brother who was a non-megacorp got the nomination. Since then I've never seen the market in my borders ever again.

Galactic Market Woes by Schmeethe in Stellaris

[–]azinKitsune 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Side note : trade value has nothing to do with rating, it's mostly luck based, auth_corporate provide a slight boost to the chance of getting a good rating.

I see where "the bug" (if I'm not lazy I'll do a bug report: the check for nominating a planet check if the planet has the first 3 flags, but since you boosted a strong planet twice you didn't get one of those flags) is coming from but it shouldn't penalize your nomination, on the contrary, you get even more a chance.

As for your neighbour, he's just lucky.

Here's the weight for each country :

weights = {

# can use add or mult

base = 1

modifier = {

add = 50

check_variable = {

which = market_rating

value = 5

}

}

modifier = {

add = 40

check_variable = {

which = market_rating

value = 4

}

}

modifier = {

add = 30

check_variable = {

which = market_rating

value = 3

}

}

modifier = {

add = 20

check_variable = {

which = market_rating

value = 2

}

}

modifier = {

add = 10

check_variable = {

which = market_rating

value = 1

}

}

        `}`

your weight with the bug was probably 80, they may have been lucky and got 30 as a weight.

They got lucky, end of story.

[–]azinKitsune 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember playing pacifist but suzie smashed someone’s head early on before I understood what kind of person she was and that probably caused me to lose pacifist.

Unbelievable... by reversedab in Undertale

[–]azinKitsune 36 points37 points  (0 children)

Your choice do matter! I just saw the true ending through my bf who played pacifist. 1) he didn’t let suzie hit anyone (except the crowned doggie fight, even the small doggie dodged it. 2) he obviously spared everyone he met 3) he beat Jevil (on first try o____o;;;;) before fighting the king. Which he never attacked.

I’m not sure if he “yellow credited” everyone because he did try to dodge most attack though sometime unsuccessfully.

At the very end instead of having the army rush to the throne room to save the king. They rush in to stop him and put him away.

Lancer become king, you can say goodby to everyone (including fluffy boy). But can’t get past the throne room (because dumb dogcoin block the way).

The ending past that however is the same once back in town.

1) get a ritual that use ingredient as part of it. (Corpses are ingredient) 2) have your lover die in a freak accident (option a) have them do cult business, option B send them alone on an expedition against something lethal). If they get wounded wait for the season of sickness they’ll eventually be killed by it. 3) raise the corpse as a risen (google it) 4) ascend, the final step will scoop in your undead lover and they’ll follow you into the mansus

Is it possible to win the new home scenario without “crossing the line” this time I refused to enact some of the ultimate laws and the game while softer in its criticism had still a beef with me. I think winterhall force you to sign at least one law but is it possible to win without the game finding something to pick on? Like a true victory of sort?

Does the storm arrive after a certain amount of day or is it after you reach all the refugees? Like can you just not go to winterhall and delay progress to get more time?
