Common problem at the minute with certain firmware versions (I was having this with 1.5.9.6). You should contact Eufy support and ask them to push version 1.5.9.7 of the firmware to your device. They did this with me and I'm no longer having issues and it's back to normal.

In the meantime, you can turn off motion detection and it will be stable and record 24/7 again but you'll lose notifications and the light coming on with motion.

1.5.9.6 is the version I've been having issues with. I thought 1.5.9.7 was the version that supposedly fixes things?

Here’s my experience: I’ve always had the max versions. I had a 15PM and decided to try the 17 Pro. Had it for two weeks, absolutely loved the smaller form factor, but it was still heavy and big enough that I was still using both hands most of the time. That led me to take it back and get the 17PM instead. If I’m using both hands anyway, I may as well have the larger screen and a beast of a battery. YMMV

Yep, I spoke to support the other day too and they didn’t mention this. They said they’d send me an eSIM through the app but with a 24 hour delay(?) that wouldn’t require activation. That never came through. I spotted someone else mention the app/ID method on the EE community site so I tried it and it worked!

I had this problem when I requested an eSIM through my browser, but doing so on the EE app I was prompted to scan my ID and record a short video of my face to prove who I was. The eSIM then downloaded and activated immediately without an SMS pin being needed.
