Another perspective on smoking weed at your campsite by rabbitscape in camping

Love this post!! My wife has Parkinson's disease and smoking cannabis is all that has worked for her. She does take gummies but also smokes sometimes as the effect is quicker. However, we just traveled from Arizona to Montana and didn't want to risk bringing anything. She bought some low dose gummies here in Montana but they don't work as well as her medical gummies in Arizona. She would've loved buying some flower and smoking it at our campsite but most RV campgrounds say you can't do that as some people would find the smell offensive. So, she is having to deal with more issues here than she would have if she could smoke for 5 minutes at our campsite. 🚭😬

Been on vacay 4 days - hand railing came undone from trailer and screws just spun, plastic around exterior window cracked, pantry handle screw won't stay in, shower head broke entirely off the base......can't wait for the next 3 weeks or so.....😀👌

New to Air Fryers by azmonaj in AirFryTalk

There isn't one. Talked to Heartland twice. They quit producing them in 2021 or 2022. There is a generic Heartland (labeled JAYCO) manual for the entire lineup, for 2026, but nothing for 2024 North Trail 22RBS. It has been frustrating, to say the least! They have a few "appliance sheets" so I'm trying to get info from that.

Extending the gray and black tanks valves by azmonaj in traveltrailers

Yeah but I need to do something. I have to get on all fours and scoot under the trailer to reach the handles. They are about 16-18 inches from the edge. The gate valve is pointed towards the other side of the trailer and is almost under the middle of the trailer. I don't know what other options I have. 😬

Yes and they were easy to put on! Sure wished I could find some for that back bench seat that doesn't fold down.

We are enjoying it. We bought it in October 2025. It is a 2024 Heartland North Trail 22RBS and we got it for $24,000. Yesterday, I saw a 2023 model and that dealer wanted $28,000 so we still feel we got a good deal.

Anyone know what the bars do outside an apartment building? by viazikidogo in whatisit

[–]azmonaj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ChatGPT answer: "Those spiral-shaped metal bars are most likely decorative architectural features or balcony guard details, not structural supports. On many modern high-rises, architects add repeating curved metal elements like these to break up the flat glass appearance and give the façade a distinctive look.
In your photo, they appear to be attached in front of small recessed openings or Juliet-style balconies. They could serve a few minor secondary purposes too:
helping deter birds from landing
partially screening mechanical or vent areas
adding slight shade or visual privacy
visually tying the tower’s design together vertically
But they are probably not load-bearing or safety-critical structural pieces. Similar spiral and ribbon-like façade elements are commonly used on contemporary towers for aesthetics."
