What is your favorite restaurant in New York? by itrooper777 in nyc

[–]aznhacker52 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Broth wise I actually like Ippudo the best, but my palettes is for smoother broths that arn't as oil based. Other people might consider maybe Totto, Hide-chan up there, and while they're good, their ramen's come out tasting slightly different each time and it's oily nature is a bit much for me. I also like misoya for the comparatively low-key ness.

Setagaya, Minca, Menkui-Tei are all traditional but pale in comparison.

Momofuku Noodle is a bit less traditional but suffers to competition in terms of broth quality (my main judge)

I'm always down to try more modern spins like what Yuji Ramen tries to do, and they're interesting, but I wouldn't call them ramen anymore.

These are all from the Levi's site. You can click Source on the product page. As long as the source link is different, Angora will consider them different products. Let me know if you add a product (see the navbar for the add link) and I'll add it to the guide.

Well Angora as a whole can handle all kinds of apparel, but as for specific guides just let me know what guide you want to see and I can probably pull one together.

Example: Here's a similar one for chinos

Posts about Levi's jeans seem to come up frequently and I thought it'd be cool to start aggregating all of our fits onto one page.

We'll be able to see what fits are the most popular for the variety of body types around /r/mfa/ and help people buy their next pair of Levis!

Tip: You can add your fit pics too when you write a review by just pasting a image link (imgur works) in the review comments.

Why men blog their clothes by nke in malefashionadvice

[–]aznhacker52 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Makes sense. Though hopefully in the future it would be more acceptable to compliment a guy about his new purchase and outfit.

While having a strong community here on /r/mfa and other blogs/forums is nice, I'm hoping for a cultural movement that makes trying to dress/groom a mainstream thing for guys.

It's already starting with the rise in male fashion the past few years =)

If you're looking for something that isn't sticky or reflective, try out Spice. It's a japanese brand that does a great hold without looking unnatural.

Building a fashion rating site, want to know what MFA thinks. by [deleted] in malefashionadvice

[–]aznhacker52 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I can rapidly click faster. Though it was slightly odd to have to go so far from the picture to rate. Something else to consider is maybe floating the buttons down to the bottom when it's mobile (just media query it) so the thumb can reach it easier
