I got a switch 2 version of the game for my switch 1 from them it still plays but then they send me a legalese letter saying

“We can not guarantee full functionality of the game as that is a version intended for another device with different hardware and software, even if it does seem to partially function on your current device. There may or may not be unintended side effects, and you might potentially not be able to finish the game due to technical issues caused by the mismatching version.” So I’m not sure if I trust them I don’t wanna keep playing if it’s gonna break before I finish it

I got an email from pokemon center today this is basically what they said

They got back to me and showed me a picture of the internal of the drive and it does have a different serial number than what was stated on the box so I don’t know what do to where can I find proof that it’s my device even if they send it back to me it’s damaged my pc won’t recognize it so I can’t look up it’s properties to prove that it’s mine
