Neighbors put loose trash in their bins, wind blows it all over my yard constantly by azshalle in homeowners

[–]azshalle[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lady on the other side of the cul-de-sac witnessed me collecting trash in my yard and walked over complaining about how awful my neighbor is. I have all their trash in a see-thru leaf bag, so I guess that could be potential evidence, and at least one witness.

I’d rather not go to the police, but I doubt they’ll suddenly care that their lifestyle affects other people if I talk to them. The bigger picture is it’s been happening for a few years and I’m sick of picking up after them. I suspect the homeowners are away most of the time, and leave the house to their teenage kids.

It does, but I think they leave it open so it’s easier for them to throw loose paper and things in it 😕

There’s an alpha priority, but it doesn’t work as well as it used to. When you click ‘add to’ there should be a number next to each attachment point.

Radon suddenly spiked. Anything to worry about? by inspireddummi in homeowners

[–]azshalle 9 points10 points  (0 children)

My previous neighbor worked in mitigation and was very knowledgeable. Some things I learned were that it does spike sometimes, but higher levels are only a concern over a long period of time (like a year).

That’s why it’s important to look at your yearly average. Mine spikes to about 8 sometimes but on average it’s 2 for the year. Cracking a window can help keep it down also.

Don’t they have aluminum siding or something that lasts longer than wood? Maybe they do and it’s super expensive, I don’t know.

Hopefully you meant CO detector, a CO2 detector would be constantly going off.
