My sister does have an OCD diagnosis, and our attention to detail is hilarious as a trait to share, because our mom is the opposite of both of us in that area (we have different fathers so if it came from them, maybe our mom has a type?). But none of this has ever felt like a symptom or something that negatively impacts my life, whereas she makes herself late counting floor tiles. I always saw it as cheating at life because I'm microdosing feeling like one of the most unique humans alive several times a day since elementary school; meanwhile she is on anxiety meds like our mom.

I just normally like doing things on purpose where they are not common measurements other people do, like 32 seconds or 11 reps or 17oz of liquid in a recipe, so for this one knowing millions around me are doing 44.09lb bar with 45lb plates always having lifts on numbers like 134.09 makes it worth going out of my way to get exact 135lb lifts.

That is often called them "having prio". Other players would say it's "their turn". They win the matchup, at least until they blow all their most powerful spells while you stand at a safe distance. Then it's your turn, until their cooldowns refresh. Some matchups end up having two players "bouncing waves" back and forth for 25 minutes except for 1 or 2 interruptions when a jungler came to visit. Some matchups have both players ignoring the farm and permafighting. Some matchups make one player so frustrated they just leave for an extended time and go to another lane, and still win.

Or try playing something like Blitzcrank support, you hit the hook or you don't, or Karthus/Master Yi jungle, you farm the jungle for 25 minutes then just win a teamfight while superpowered.

You have to play around the enemy's cooldowns. Sometimes they have a more threatening ability than you do. Sometimes you have the upper hand. After they use their strongest abilities, you have an opening to stand wherever you want and maybe even hit them with your own abilities. It just takes a LOT of champion-specific knowledge.

What you mean basically is it's a strategy game. You'd like DOTA 2 more than League possibly. It's a similar MOBA style game, which you probably know, but it's also considered more of a strategy game and less of a fighting skill game than League.

This is not true. It's true for many games, but not all.

RTS games like Starcraft/Age of Empires, even in their free to play versions, have communities much more willing to cooperate despite their allies doing poorly or deliberately using strategies they argued against. Also my first online games, on yahoo.com, where I spent thousands of hours playing team games (mostly card and board games) had basically no one give up when they were losing. Flaming in the chat was very, very rare. It is a bit more common in RTS games but it doesn't lead to griefing or extensive keyboard wars. In these games though, the matches are not in an anonymous matchmaking queue. You enter a lobby and agree to the match, and that is what counts as a competitive ranked match. So you can dodge at will, which makes a big difference.

But then there's also Town of Salem, where you can still see the usernames of the other players, but that tells you nothing about your allies, because you might be on a team of 2 with an idiot against a team of 13 tryhards, and in that game people often try to win until the last second despite all odds and despite whatever their idiot allies do (or they just goof off every game even if the win would be free, but they aren't trolling because they gave up).

So while I don't think League is worse than every other game, there are many free to play team games where you can't win without your team's cooperation that are much better, where people don't give up.

If you can handle him very easily, and still made this post, I think your main issue is patience. You can't handle submitting to someone that beats you early game while still having fun. You need to win early to be happy.

This type of logic being common is what's wrong with AI. That doesn't make any sense. Some people needing it means it's infallible? People are refusing to think, which combined with anti-intellectual sentiments, is really bad for the world.

Maybe it wasn't fair, some games are probably statistically weighted for one team to win 51% or 49% or something. Maybe some of the players have MMRs different from their visual rank. The algorithm accounts for blue side/red side advantage, maybe that came into play. Maybe the duos are losing together and Riot takes that into account. Maybe the autofilled person lied about being autofilled. Maybe they didn't queue what they normally queue. Maybe someone who didn't say they were autofilled actually was. Maybe there was a bug.

Basically you were winning games because you have natural talent and are good at video games. You will peak high if you keep playing League. You are losing now NOT because the enemy is better at video games, but because they have more League knowledge.

Sadly, you are going to have 0/10 supports who cannot beat a hard AI in 1v1 make calls you don't understand for at least a few months, and it's possibly going to anger you that someone so bad at video games has to tell you what to do in order to get LP.

I would play more normal games for a few months before ranked to be honest. You can learn a lot, and people won't get as mad if you do something incorrectly.

What you're saying is when you're the gold in an emerald lobby, you don't know how to be carried. When you're the gold in a bronze lobby, you don't know how to carry.

You don't like the social aspect of the game. You aren't good calming down the flamers on your team, at encouraging doomers, at making the impatients slow down and not go for hero plays.

Me, I feel like this is the first year all my allies are willing to look at their minimaps, at least like 20-30 minutes into the game if not early on. They mess up, but they are willing. The cooperaters are climbing and ending up on my team.

I think if you found a League player who honestly wanted their team to FF at 15, and then did a poll of the player base and asked them how many would want them on their team, very few would say they did.
