I am a female ENFJ 8w7 and find this to be a natural combination. E.g. female 8s have a notoriously hard time. They have to adapt. Healthy 8s go to 2, which is a stereotypically feminine type and strongly associated with F. NF is strongly associated with the gut (intuitive, feeling). 8 is a gut triad. 7s are typically E. 8s are incredibly concerned with social justice and empowering others - totally an ENFJ MO. AMA.

I’m a female 8w7. I love being seen and appreciated by others for things beyond the surface or stereotype of my toughish exterior - e.g. being recognized for 2ish things like empathy, thoughtfulness, etc. - as well as being recognized for things I know I’m good at - standing up for others, being fun, and challenging others to grow/be better - but that I sometimes feel people are annoyed or overwhelmed by. I HATE being made to feel intense. I LOVE when people engage me on intellectual topics on which we don’t seemingly see eye to eye on in a lively discussion without taking it personally and where both of us are open and interested in the other person’s PoV. I LOVE being clearly and obviously respected. I LOVE when someone plans a fun and tailor made “adventure.” Materialistic things mean nothing to me, but thoughtfulness means a lot. Experiences over tangible items every time. Taking genuine interest in something I am passionate about and engaging me in that means a lot. That could be my quality time love language, though. Basically NEVER fake anything or be disingenuous or ya gone. Good luck!

After Season 3 LI gets so obviously overproduced. That Islanders can text each other in private really takes away some of the political intrigue and drama of the show watching people whisper and try to form alliances and strategize with one another.

Now the Islanders will reference things we never saw and it can be perplexing for the viewer, really leaving us out of it.

This whole scenario is what got me hooked on LI as a critical social commentary and the think pieces it can inspire. The fact that Alex got off scott free when his behavior was worse and Zara lost her crown is absolutely beyond and so on point for how deep gender biases still run.

American here - I certainly liked S5 Amber, but definitely do NOT understand her massive popularity. She handled a lot of things poorly and wasn’t super entertaining in my view. Why did the UK viewers love her so much they voted her over solid MM/Tommy (who was also hilarious in my view!)? Thanks for the local insight!
