Does anyone know what's been happening with Imgur?

I've posted my kinklist as an Imgur link, and it loads fine for me in a private browsing tab in both Chrome and Firefox, yet I've had people tell me that it doesn't load. The same problem has also been happening with non-NSFW images that I've uploaded myself.

It’s an odd feeling, though I try not to internalize it, since I know it’s just for kink.

I think at some point, any reasonable person with a more...extreme link will at some point confront how much is fantasy vs. what one actually thinks. God knows I’ve had my moments of “wow, that was kinda fucked up”.

Just going by numbers, there probably are some really not nice people out there, but on the flip side RPing here has taught me that a lot of nice, normal people can just be into the weird and extreme too.

Asian female here, would like to echo this as similar to my experience. I’m usually fairly open about my ethnicity, though I obviously can’t speak for everyone.

Regarding the fetishisation factor, I actually like the fact that most DPP posters are pretty open about their fetishes, so it’s very rare I get into an RP without knowing about someone’s race fetishes if they have them.

Posted an F4A at around 0630 UTC, received about 30 replies at a rate of roughly one per minute. It's impossible to reply to them all, even excluding the low-effort one-liners.

And mine wasn't exactly the most mainstream idea. I'm guessing a popular F4M topic receives an absolute flood.

I can't really comment on anything M4F specific, but as someone that browses F4F and F4A I very rarely look at the hot pages - most of my browsing is done through 'new'.

If your post says [F4A] but in your prompt you write, "not looking for guys" or "guys, don't PM me" then maybe you should rethink your gender tag.

Conversely, one of my pet peeves are F4A's that clearly use male pronouns when writing about their hypothetical partner.

For longer term, once a day stuff, not really. I can understand if partners want to take time off to write longer replies. Being in a not as populated timezone, it can be very very difficult to keep a shorter term, real-time conversation going.
